Great collection of minigames and short campaigns with classic Kirby gameplay. Some mini-campaigns felt superfluous, like the Dyna-Blade one.

This port is mostly unchanged with a couple new things. Unfortunately, this is the most overrated Kirby game. It's too easy even by Kirby standards, and the level design is not that good. The music, for some reason, is worse than in the SNES original.

played like 2 gourmet race rounds with my friend 10 years ago and lost

Extremely fun remake that has such a large variety of modes that keeps anyone entertained, and a overarching storyline that is also really interesting.

A revisit of a game widely regarded as “the best one” in its respective franchise is usually a risky move, but it’s one that paid off for HAL in the long run. Every addition to this game feels like something that could or even should have been in the original; and while I’ll still pop in the original SNES release or play it on the Switch Online service, Ultra is my go-to and the one I recommend to new players.

modern sisyphus is watching nintendo try to recreate the magic of this game. and they always fail, every single time.

Insert unfunny joke about how Kirby is a Fire Emblem lord here

best kirby game. best remaster of a game. i don't need to explain why because it's kirby mortherfucking super star itself

Best Kirbus bar none. If too much content was a critique i would drag this game

Super Star, but better! What a shock!

I miss when kirby was cool :(

Really good kirby game.

Depending on what day you ask me I may say this is better than the original. Adds an insane amount of content, some of which is the hardest stuff that's ever been in a Kirby game. Definitely was a must-buy for this console, and further establishes Super Star's status as the peak of Kirby.

all remasters/ports/whatever you want to call them should aspire to be like this

"And it's cold."
"And it's high."
"And it's scary."
"...All right, you lot."

Dedede needs more monsters to clobber that there kirbeh

I hadn't played the original until I got a proper SNES years later, but I had heard great things about Super Star, so upon this game's announcement, I had to get it. Hoooo boy, I LOVE this game. It just plays so darn good as a Kirby game should, and there's tooooons of Kirby content packed into digestible mini stories that don't force you to rush playing the game all at once and get burned out. This is the best Kirby game around, hands down.

My introduction to Kirby, god what a good game

One of the better, if not the best Kirby game, with a wide variety of content, a great selection of copy abilities to play around with, and one of the more challenging Kirby boss rushes

awesome game. appropriate for kids. what more could you ask for.

Such a massive facelift of SNES Super Star jesus christ it's so raw
