My favorite 2D platformer ever. Totally brilliant.

An absolute beauty of a platformer and best Rayman game IMO. This and Origins are two of my favorite games.

Not as precise a platformer as your Super Meat Boys or Celestes, but it doesn't need to be; Rayman Legends ignores the focus that subset of the genre places on mastering air-tight core mechanics in favor of having players grapple with the vast array of gameplay ideas thrown at the wall at any given moment through varied, imaginative level design. The sheer number of micro mechanics created this way, which in some cases are already left behind after one or two levels to move on to the next idea, is honestly staggering and gives the game a fresh, ever changing quality throughout that is difficult to rival.

A delight to play through, and that feeling is captured no better than by the sublime music levels that close out each world. These aren't just celebrations of your own achievements in the game, they're celebrations of the unadulterated joy that platformers—or any game, really—can bring us in those rare moments where everything locks into place and feels just right.

this game did something impossible and made black betty and eye of the tiger cool

played since summer of 2015
fuck rayman 4
i want a sequel to this shit

Un gran plataformas 2D, lleno de imaginación. El control no es tan preciso y el diseño no es tan bueno como en por ejemplo Tropical Freeze pero tiene un diseño artístico espectacular y cómo olvidar los niveles musicales.

It's great except for the part where it makes you play through Rayman Origins

Literally the only thing bad about this game is that it makes me play Rayman: origins

decent additions to the origins experience are counter-acted by awful murphy sections because they had to sell a bad gimmick controller for Nintendo

tava de graça na live, portanto brabo

One of the best platformers of all time

One of the cleanest platformers I've played in years. Phenomenal with friends.

Best 2D side scroller I've ever played but the music remix levels give me a headache and eye strain. Also the trophy that requires you to beat your friend's score 10 times can go to hell.

Music levels. Just... sequel plz

I had a great time with it, very good and satisfying platforming with a fantastic flow to it, funny humour and it's quite full of content with the previous game, Rayman Origins, included as extra levels. Recomended.

So much heart and passion probably went into this game. It is just stuffed with content to the roof. I just wish i liked playing it more? Competent platforming, but i couldn't quite vibe with it.

I loved how the music and levels were interwoven in this game and loved the vibe, but the platforming itself just wasn't that enjoyable for me - I wish I'd loved it more than I did.

An incredible follow-up to Rayman Origins, continues what it started to create some of the most fun I've had with a game in a while. Doesn't do enough to really surpass Origins, but it's still another fantastic entry in the series.

The platforming stages are incredible in almost every way. That being said, the shitty levels where you use the Wii U gamepad break the game's pacing in half. Would have much rather played a whole game of platforming in this beautiful art style.

Every single level of this game is a masterpiece

More polished and consistently inventive than just about any pure 2D platformer I've ever played. The level designs, variety, replayability, and even the water levels are amazing. One of the greatest tragedies of our time is that I lost my save data before hitting 100%.

Would go up a lot if there were less Murphy levels ngl

Probably the best platforming game I've ever played. That's all I have to say.

Immensely fun platformer. Wish that some tiny's weren't so tedious to get though.

THE best controlling 2d platformer. on the surface it's already utterly perfect but it has so many tiny nuances. brake boosting, the DOZENS of minute character differences, yby tech.. there's so much here. this plus how the levels are just perfectly tuned to zoom through.. i adore it.

this game is so good it almost makes up for origins having two water worlds

hey remember how this was originally gonna be a wii u exclusive lmao
