The sequels failed to capture this aesthetic again

Prensentation alone deserves all the stars. What every VN-type game should strive to be. Ending will divide the fanbase until the end of the earth, but it is still the best.

Lives rent free in my mind
Think of it when I make beats

Blew my mind when it first released. Made me think Uchikoshi was an interesting writer.

The school dlc saved the game for me.
Pretty cool Japanese folklore FPS.
Certain scenes are very pretty and the combat is cool

Definitely feels dated and sluggish (I really hate backtracking), but the story/notes kept me playing.
Having a cool detective playable is always kino to me.

I love games with autistic women

Such a unique vibe compared to the more silly sequels. I'll always remember Spike more than the other protags.

Such a blunder of a "game." The ARG elements before the release were cool, but the actual game itself was disappointing. Many details from the first game were ignored to make this newcomer-friendly. Musical numbers and comedic scenes were even more awkward this time around. Characters were insufferable at times. Mizuki doesn't make a good protagonist. I feel like this is where I should stop supporting Uchikoshi. Definitely would like all the time I spent on this series back.

Looks crazy good for the time
physics, combat, and bosses were all fun
Still feels like it's missing something and the music is a bit bland

A classic
Great setting, message, and soundtrack
the controls are a bit awkward, however

It's a miracle this game even exists.
Controlling more than FOUR characters is nutty. The combat system was fun as hell. Even better music and is double as long the first.
It has a bit of padding and pacing issues, but I'm just glad it's out and everyone got closure.

Actually my first memory of gaming. I must've been 3 or 4 years old.

We probably won't see anything more from this game, but I feel like it was a unique take on Mafia/Werewolf gameplay.
Decent story with interesting characters. The artist is really cool too.
