Personally, I do not think another game will take the number one spot away from this game in my lifetime. First game that had me excited to take notes to keep track of different narrative pieces each scene kind of shifting your understanding slightly or insanely. The music is also amazing god deoxybirose is such an amazing track, and in my opinion, its got some of the best voice acting performances ever done in the medium with an insanely stacked cast. While I do expect some games like disco elysium, xenoblade 1, and fata morgana to maybe come close to topping this experience, on a personal level this shit was just so fucking ambitious and lands what its trying to achieve so well its insane. I could see how someone could have some minor issues with this game but to me personally this is my favorite game of all time. Its crazy cause you know the more time passes from playing a game and the more you grow and change the more hazy and fuzzy the memory of it becomes and you know it becomes a lot harder to keep older shit on your top 10 because the newer shit you've played is more fresh in your mind and of course its better by comparison, but even with that in mind and all the 10/10s ive played in the last year, nothing has topped this for me and I think thats a testament to how fucking impressive and gutsy this game is. Even the process of it getting made is really interesting I suggest after finishing it reading some Q&A's and interviews with george kamitani cause i think its really impressive that vanillaware, although their catalogue is amazing theyre not really known for their narrative, was able to pull off a game this good and was able to work on it for this long without someone forcing them to release it.

Ok, after rereading ep 1 and 2(which were very good) it's actually disappointing to see that i didn't like this one as much as i did when i once readed. Though, i at least could appreciate more the Eva Beatrice and Battler fight. My problems are with some specific twilights and the beginning of the cap. The beginning with Eva's backstory is actually fine, but on a reread it is not much interesting to watch, then we go into Kuwadorian story, which i thought would be good, was unfortunantely not as good as i thought it would be, even knowing the truth beforehand. The way it is "explained" through Beatrice's fantasy pov is really confusing and not as clearly metaphorical as i thought it would be, sure, it still can be interpreted that way, but i didn't like the way it was portraited.

Then let's talk about the best first part of this ep, the first twilight. Those are the fantasy scenes that i love, where there is a truth behind, and not purely fantasy, and this one rules, because it not only shows the truth about "Virgilia" but also shows who teached Sayo "Magic", through the "Predecessor" metaphor. And i like how Virgilia was "dead since the beginning", making it appear like all of that incredible battle was really nothing, because she was already dead. Also, "Fake Red Shoes" is the best ost on this cap, and it to be on this scene is really great. Then after the fight there is also another good scene, where Virgilia tells battler about the gameboard using the "braun tube" example, which is a really good tip to understand those fantasy scenes, and how we can't take everything at face value. Then came the second twlight which i also liked a lot, and i do think i could see Eva's emotions through that scene, and the way she repeatedly said things about their moments together with Rosa in the past and of how both wished to become witches and fly on the sky and then she makes her fly just to die after, or how she also realised the ocean of jelly dream that Rosa spoked of when younger, and then killed her drowned into it, or how they played throwing butterflies into spider's web and Eva killed her in that way. That showed me 2 interpretations, the bad one, where this scene means that Eva want to crush Rosa in the deepest way possible, crushing her with her own dreams, or the good one, which is, the fact that while killing her she remembered of good moments they had together, showing a slightly remorse against this action.

Then we went into the forth, fifith and sixth twlight, which i HATED. I mean, if the truth is that Kyrie suspected Hideyoshi and told Rudolf it, and then they prepared the "wanting food" thing just to go into the mansion and demand answers from Hideyoshi, then Kyrie is REALLY DUMB, how they got themselves shot against Hideyoshi alone? Okay, Eva could also be there(jumping into the wall, and coming back later from the window asking Najo's help to save Hideyoshi) and they basically tried to kill each other(and then after missing a fatal shot on Kyrie, she killed Hideyoshi), but my point is, it is so risky and dumb of Kyrie's part to go there anyway, she could've just tell everyone the suspicious she had, tough either choice woud lead into nothing, but alright. The problem on this scene is not even only it's premisse, but it would be so much text to explain why i hated the magical scene too.

Then there was the seventh and eighth twilights, which were just fine. The problem was on the ninth twlight. Because of Beatrice's ressurection scene with George. I mean, if the Chiester Sisters were the only ones to kill George with only Beatrice there, this scene would be fine, because even though it was a "love scene" love can be deceiving and that's not the first scene where it happens, and even in the end of this cap it is shown that Beatrice was only preteding to be good(which changed the meaning of some good scenes, even though she actually let Jessica "live" until the explosion). BUT, showing Eva Beatrice as the one who ordered the shot is really not good. Because she would never shot him. And in this case without love we would not see it. But, i mean, overall i accept this scene, but didn't like that much.

Then we enter into the last twilight which would be fine if it hadn't the same problem as the last one. Kanon's ghost with Jessica was good, but the problem is on Nanjo's death. Again, why put Eva Beatrice talking and clearly killing him on the magical scene, if in the end it was Beatrice's doing? Also, Beatrice's and Eva Beatrice fight was purely bullshit, no?(i mean inside the truth of the gamboard, i do understand the fantasy meaning of what means to be a real witch) Another thing i was thinking is about the fact that Eva didn't talk about the gold with anyone despite Rosa, and still managed to leave there using the Kuwadorian escape route. Which is non sense, but, there was in fact some parts to support that she met with Beatrice on the land of gold and i like this part more because of some moments of Eva Beatrice still putting the stakes on the dead bodys out of respect for the previous sucessor Beatrice. Which with love i think she would do(Because Eva really respects this Ushiromiya position, since it was her dream and after seeing Kinzo's ring, she would know for sure 'Beatrice' wasn't lying), even though she didn't like doing it that much, and hated Beatrice, she still respected what she means.

Well, overall it was good enough, but i really had some big upsets, especially because i loved the magical scenes from ep 2, and the misdirections/fantasy scenes(If we can count KInzo) from ep 1. But, that's all.

Made one of my favorite games better in almost every way

This game was incredible! Everything - from the story, to the gameplay, to the characters, to the soundtrack, and everything in between was outstanding! By the end of only one playthrough, I sunk just over 100 hours in the game. This is a definite 10/10, and I wouldn’t feel wrong calling it one of my favorite games of all time

Most satisfying, and engaging combat in gaming next to dmc. Best bosses by Fromsoftware next to ds3 fun traversal unlike the other From titles, and great balancing also unlike the other From titles. Only issue with this game is some level design choices, mini bosses surrounded by enemies makes for annoying reruns. Luckily this isn't an issue with the main bosses.

I thought Force Unleashed was actually kinda fun, not a perfect experience by any means but one that I still got some kicks out of, it still has problems like cheap bosses that can be a pain in the ass to fight, and a lot of the times you can be stun locked into places with little chance of fairly getting out, but the combat was really fun, the attacks felt very heavy and powerful, I know some people might view that as a bad thing but the attacks felt like they had impact, especially when chaining normal swings with electrical attacks, the thunder attack was pretty cool, when leveled up all the way anyway, I feel the way the force was handled here was great, being able to pick up small and medium sized enemies/objects and just chuck them all over the place, made it really fun trying to figure out how I was gonna handle some situations, like will I take the enemies head on and risk alerting more or hide somewhere and chuck this bomb at them, also I think it's pretty funny when you pick up enemies and bring them to another they'll grab on to each other for dear life, only attack that I didn't use too much was the choke attack, it instantly kills any medium enemy but you have to stand still and be in front of them to use it, and since there are a million better attacks to use and they'd just be shooting me I figured it's damn near useless, but yeah Force Unleashed was a fun time.

I love this game. It honestly aged better than many people believed. The mechanics are fun. The world design for the levels are good and fun. Love the interactions that Sora, Donald, and Goofy had with other Disney characters and worlds and some of the Final Fantasy characters. A lot of abilities are fun and useful.

Though my biggest issue with the game is that the Gummi Ship sections are BORING and dull. It feels like a drag when going through it. I kept asking many times, when can this be over?

Overall, go ahead and play this. I recommend it for anyone who wants to get into the series. Try it out and have fun.

I only decided to give this game a shot because of Smash and because everyone and their grandma would not shut up about how good this game is. I'll say it again, I'm not a massive fan of RPGs (Even tho I have played a ton of them) or weeb shit, so I was expecting to like this one just fine and maybe drop it halfway through just for how long it is.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I beat this game twice.

I liked this game so much that I ended up replaying it almost immediately after beating it for the first time...I- I just don't know what to say...

I had previously attempted to play a Persona game, with Persona 4, but I barely played that and to be fair, I barely knew any english back then, so I wasn't really paying attention to the plot or the dialogue...Which are very important in these games. However, once I started playing this one, it easily managed to grab my attention in no time; it started as simple curiosity to see how the story would unfold, but the more and more I played, the more this game grabbed me by the balls and would not let me get my eyes off the screen.

Plain and simply, I absolutely fell in love with these characters, just enough for me to look past the typical RPG tropes and tedious grinding that annoy me so much. But the fact of the matter is that this game doesn't even suffer from that all that much, since the life sim aspect really helps to balance the dungeon crawling parts of the game, as well as the combat being designed in a way that you can skip entire fights just by exploiting enemy weaknesses.

I mean, you can actually skip fights altogether after you hang out with Ryuji enough times; even when you can't, the way this game presents everything makes every fight at least visually astonishing to see. This game oozes with personality and an unique visual style that I have never seen in an RPG.

Oh and yeah, hanging out with your friends, going to school and just mess around actually has an impact on the RPG side of the game, which I love so much. Suddenly leveling up and getting stronger doesn't entirely revolve around fighting the same enemy hundreds of times until the game tells me I have leveled up...Nah, me and my team can get better just by seeing what Yusuke is up to today!

My only real complaint with this game, that I can think of right now, is the fact that your teammates can die as many times as they want during fights, but if Joker dies once it is an instant game over. This caused me to lose so many fights, some of them near the end, simply because Joker was taken down and my teammates apparently could not revive him the same way I revive them or they revive each other.

It is also so stupid and so annoying to spend like 30 minutes trying to beat a boss, only to lose and having to repeat the whole thing again, because Joker suddenly felt like not dodging the attack and died. You can control every party member here, but wether or not they dodge or land a hit is still random, which I do not like.

Other than that, I love the different palaces and how unique they are, I love the music, I love the artstyle, the villains are not subtle but they are so much fun, Akechi never fails to crack me up...There is just so many things I love and I want to say about this game...But I think I've said enough.

5 Personas outta 5. Will probably replay again some day.

Ryuji is best bro and Kawamommy is my whole life ❤️❤️❤️

One of the best stories I’ve played in a video game, right up there with Red Dead Redemption 2. Only thing holding this game back from a 10 for me is the random goons you have to fight on the street get annoying after awhile and the combat got a bit stale for me.

Would have also liked a proper quick save feature, I learned the hard way and lost a good bit of progress because I didn’t have time to play for an extra hour and I didn’t expect the game wouldn't let me save for the next hour. Bosses also got a bit stale and all they would do is add more health to make a boss harder.

But the game is worth it just for the story alone. The Two playable characters are amazing and there are so many twists and turns in this game where I was in disbelief.
