Super Mario World is the follow up to the two previous Mario games. Those being Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3. This was the final game in the mainline Mario franchise to adapt the RPG style of gameplay with long cutscenes and large character, with later games taking on the much adored platforming genre.

This game like those before it fails as an RPG. There is little to no gameplay and almost the entire game is cutscenes. The game is seperated into many chapters that all repeat an extremely similar style of story. This game introduces Yoshi to the main cast as well the Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad making their return. Sadly I dont feel as though Yoshi's Voice Actor is the best. He fits the character but I find it kind of annoying. The voice actors of the previous games make thier return of course and are still serviceable at worst and pretty good at best.

Every chapter usually takes the form of one single 20 minute long cutscene that recycle the same plot for each chapter. Usually involving King Koopa doing some evil and Mario being needed to save the day. Mario will stop Bowser and then the cucle repeats in the next chapter. The only gameplay in the entire game is the Chapter select screen and there is not much else.

In conclusion this game is very boring when played for too long. At first it starts off goofy and fun but as you progress through each chapter you realize that the game's plot lacks any originality and every chapter follows the same formula over and over. I will never understand why everyone veiws this game as a classic.

Started replaying it. This game should go by pretty quick which I appreciate. Might even be finished by tomorrow. I reached Area 4 today and might play more later tonight.

Played through all of Chapter 5. Not much else to say thats really about it.

Doing the side quests and exploration on Bionis Leg went over a couple hours into this morning. I'm going to bed for now since its WAY too late. Next session will finally be Final Fantasy VII again but after that I'll be doing the first Xord fight and playing up to Satorl Marsh.

Completed what side content was available to me but didn't have enough time to do Chapter 2. Next time I'll likely do that as well as Chapter 3 and very possibly the side content there as well.

I did everything up to Chapter 4. Later I'll likely be getting Sharla and doing as much side content as I can on Bionis Shoulder. There were a couple quest I likely won't do for a while (like 6 or 7 Chapters in) but everything else is done including the first Challenege from the Nopon Archsage.

I played through Bionis Leg until you unlock Sharla and did all of the side content up to this point as well as explored all of Bionis Leg.

I adore this game and throughout this entire session I just kept saying to myself "omg I love this game." I played through the main story of Chapter 1. Next time I'll be doing side quests in Colony 9 and maybe playing through Chapter 2.

Maybe not the best time to be starting this since the second part of the remake is releasing in literally 5 days. Anyway this game is peak.

I destroyed the final boss. First time I played the game this boss took me 4 hours but this time I only took 15 minutes. I also did the bonus DLC boss and somehow beat him on my first try.

This game is always a treat to play. Love it.

At some point I fell asleep and when I woke up the game was over. What a fucking waste of time holy shit.

I played over half of this game in a couple hours. This was not worth 50 dollars. Sorry this game isn't that good fuck you.

I finally beat it. Sephiroth was insanely tough. Every loss made me hate myself but it made me hate him more so eventually after 4 hours I won.

I have oficially 100% Super Luigi Galaxy now. I'm going to bed.

Played through Chapter 9 up to the Hellhouse boss. I really like the story but they're wasting time with MORE sidequesting and I'm really just not in the mood for it. Ill worry about it later or tomorrow.

Came back later and did the side quests. they turned out to not be that bad. Plus the rest of Chapter 9 made up for it. Chapter was whatever. I suck at this game so the combat is getting more and more frustrating to me as it gets harder. Chapter 11 was the equivelent of where I stopped playing in OG so after this I have no idea what's going to happen.

This game is great. I didn't make any insane progress but I did explore a good bit of the early game areas.

Played through Chapter 8 as well. Did all the side quests in Sector 5 Slums which was really annoying. This game has amazing story, characters and combat, and plot but the side content is horrible and kills the pace more than any other game I've played.

Played from the start of Chapter 5 all the way through Chapter 7. Based on how it ends it seems like there will be many callbacks to the OG which kind of upsets me because I don't want another Xenoblade 2 situation where they hide very important lore behind having previous knowledge about the series. I trust it won't be a major thing since this Remake is all around alot more newcomer friendly but still it feels annoying. Anyway I adore this game and as long as the remaining two games of the trilogy hold up this level of quality then it just might become one of my favorite games of all time.

I've never played a Metroid game before but they've always looked really good to me. This just happened to be the one I started with and so far I REALLY like it. I played through the opening tutorial bit and stopped there. Can't wait to get back to it later and maybe play some other Metorid games in the future.

Today, I return to Mario Galaxy one last time except as Luigi. Ive completed every star currently available in the Terrace & Fountain and about halfway through the Kitchen. Making great progress so far.

Played to Chapter 2. Halfway through thesession though my PS5 started making a weird smell which kind of took me out the game for a bit but I think I have it settled. I really like this game though. Super scary.
