Pyre is an unusual game. Half visual-novel, half sports-game, it combines two genres that I generally don't play or like. And yet, I really enjoyed my time with Pyre! It managed to keep me engaged with the plot, and the team-based matches were surprisingly fun to complete.

Has to be said: The visuals are fantastic.

The first and probably last Persona-game I will play. I didn't know what I was getting myself into, and while initially I was intrigued by the "socializing" part of the game, I noticed pretty quickly that I just don't care about that. So, I hoped that at least the RPG aspect would draw me in... But it didn't. Basic and straightforward, there was just not much to it. It was also infuriating how often the game would recap the events that had just happened minutes before, assuming that players have the attention-span of a fruitfly.

Probably a good game overall, just not for me.

My first experience with the franchise. I enjoyed the game a lot, at least everything except the game modes in HD Fury. Gameplay is fast and responsive, and especially in 2048 the visuals are fantastic.

However, I was expecting a harder game. I had heard horror stories about Zico, but was able to beat his time in HD and 2048 without issues. Gold Medals on Elite difficulty / Elite passing all campaign nodes was also much easier than expected.

I needed a while to get used and enjoy the momentum-based platforming. But once I did, N++ became a really enjoyable platformer unlike any other game in the genre. Momentum is really what this game is all about, and once you master the mechanics, moving around each level at lightning speed feels amazing.

The game feels a tad too long though. I completed everything including the X-rows in solo and legacy, which amounted to roughly 1435 levels (including some coop and race required for the platinum trophy) and by the time I was done I felt a bit exhausted.

FF X: This is one of the entries in the FF series that I've replayed the most. Great group of characters, fantastic storytelling, and the game doesn't take itself too seriously.

The HD version looks great, and while going for 100% completion was a bit of a grind, it was fun from start to finish.

Pretty mediocre experience. I enjoyed the game a lot initially, but quickly lost interest in reading what NPCs had to say or in completing sidequests.

After the campaign, unlocking higher World Tiers, completing Whispers and defeating World Bosses or fighting in Helltides was fun for a while, but past level 70, the only activity that makes you progress is clearing Nightmare Dungeons. And man, reaching lv. 100 with my rogue was such a boring slog.

After doing so and defeating Uber Lilith, I leveled a HC Sorc to lv. 50 before calling it quits.

Not really a game to invest more time into. Pretty casual experience.

I know there are a lot of people that find this game excellent. I am not one of those people.

While I could appreciate the references to classic RPGs and some of the humor, I really did not have a good time with this game, nor do I appreciate what it tries to do.

Might resonate with others, but to me it's definitely one of the worst games I have played.

Awful port of a game originally released for mobile. Clunky, uninspired gameplay, the game just has no soul. Moreover, completing all challenges is pretty straightforward and thus doesn't feel rewarding.

Not worth your time.

I adore this game. I truly do. I like the OST and will also listen to it (especially the Metal remix) just because I feel like it, I enjoy the varied playstyles of each character, and the mix of rhythm-game and dungeon crawler is something unlike anything I had seen before.

However, after spending roughly 130h with the game and having completed multiple clears with the various characters and completed specific challenges, I knew that if I wanted to keep pushing forward and unlock Coda or go for low% runs, I would have to invest a lot more of my gaming time with this game... And so I walked away.

Still, it is a very unique, very fun game with exceptionally complex and rewarding gameplay.

Maybe I will return to it one day...?

Pretty good game with fun combat, loads of emotional moments and a fantastic soundtrack to keep you going.

What could have been a disjointed mess ended up being surprisingly great experience, as I never knew what the game would throw at me next.

The game is as grotesque as the first one, and that is a good thing. I would have liked for it to allow for couch-coop, and the game was extremely short for the price point.

However, my time spent with Little Nightmares II was really enjoyable.

As good if not better than the original. The platforming gameplay is still really fun, and combat has even been improved thanks to a more useful Pollo-form.

Furthermore, the devs didn't give a shit about negative feedback from the first game regarding its humor and memes, and even doubled down on it. It's great.

Short but sweet. With an eerie atmosphere and clever puzzles, Limbo is a game that will be stuck in your head long after beating it.

The game starts out strong, with a fun sequence that can get a "wow, nice!" out of you. It stays somewhat fun until the end, but the highs from the first level are not reached again.

There cannot be enough praise for this game. Hollow Knight excels at everything it does.

Gorgeous aesthetics, deceivingly deep combat with a simple but effective character customization system and, my personal highlight, an incredible OST. The game works a lot with musical themes, and even tells stories with its compositions. It's fantastic.

From a gameplay perspective, exploring Hallownest is really fun and the size of the world is simply mindblowing. Enemies are varied and fun to engage, and Bosses are very well designed.

The game is fairly easy unless you want to tackle its optional challenges. Completing the Pantheon of Hallownest, a gauntlet of 42 bosses back to back with a single life, was really daunting, but I felt an immense sense of satisfaction when I finally succeeded.
