Meh. I was expecting more, the game became really boring pretty quickly. When playing in coop, the second player has only very limited and not very satisfying gameplay options.

Cute but rather disappointing game.

I'd describe this one as a successful return to the franchise. The tantrum-throwing Kratos is luckily gone, and in his place we have a character that you can actually somewhat sympathize with. The game looks fantastic and has decent gameplay.

My biggest issue with it is are the lackluster puzzles and lack of boss / enemy variety.

I just don't seem to enjoy slow games. The initial playthrough was somewhat fine, but I can't say that I was captivated by the plot. Playing through the game a second time, and then a third for the "silent" playthrough really bored me to tears.

This game was a weird but oddly good one. The premise is simple: You and a single arrow that you can call back, against huge bosses. Each boss is unique, and figuring out how to take it down is that this game is initially all about. Once you know how, though, you can tackle the game's various challenges: Speedruns, Hard- and Iron-Mode playthroughs, No-Roll mode... All of which are satisfying to complete.

There definitely is a good game here. What I enjoyed the most was exploration, using mounts, sneaking up on enemies, avoiding large packs of dangerous robotic enemies... The plot was also engaging and made me wanna move on with the main story.

A short game I played in couch-coop and had a decently good time. However, it doesn't do much story- or gameplay-wise, and thus its short length is appreciated.

I know there are a lot of people that find this game excellent. I am not one of those people.

While I could appreciate the references to classic RPGs and some of the humor, I really did not have a good time with this game, nor do I appreciate what it tries to do.

Might resonate with others, but to me it's definitely one of the worst games I have played.

What a game... Hyper Light Drifter quickly became one of my favorite games thanks to its gorgeous pixel-art style, amazing OST and unexpectedly deep combat. Exploration is fun, with secrets hidden around every corner, arena-style fights against varied enemy types, and a great roster of bosses waiting for you. The latter can be fought back to back in the "Boss Rush" DLC, and doing so with the "Nacked Loadout" was really cool.

Both the Hard Mode playthrough and a deathless playthrough were fun and are among my highlights with this fantastic game.

Having never played the original but knowing about how crazy some players are about this game, I went into this one with high expectations. They were only partially met.

I enjoyed some parts of the game, mostly the feeling of attempting to take down the enormous bosses with nothing but a sword and bow, going into each fight feeling at a huge disadvantage.

However, the world is too vast for it being so empty, the collecetibles feel pointless, and the gameplay during fights is more frustrating than fun.

The best part were the Time Attacks on Hard mode.

Beautiful game! Actually, that's not the right word... The game's aesthetics are amazing, but the world you are thrown into is everything but beautiful.
Grotesque characters chasing you, a small child, through claustrophobic corridors and nausea-inducing heights result in a dark, oppressive and harrowing atmosphere.

A deathless speedrun through the entire game was one of my highlights as well.

Despite its amazing soundtrack, Transistor failed to grab me as much as I wanted it to. I had fun playing through the game and experimenting with different setups, completing all optional challenges, etc.. but I was expecting more. I was never truly blown away, but it's definitely worth a playthrough!

Nioh is the best action RPG I've ever played. And I didn't think so itinially. I went through the entire game playing around with weapons, picking up whatever gear I found and just equipping anything based on numbers alone. And it was fun, though nothing exeptional, really.

Then I got to the DLC and tried out Way of the Demon... And Nioh became an absolutely different game. Now builds became incredibly important, and I spent hours and hours theorycrafting and assembling fun builds, looking for synergies and playing through the entire base game and all DLCs on this new difficulty. It was an incredibly addicting and fun experience, and elevated Nioh to one of my favorite games.

Guacamelee is a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, and is not only refreshing with its humor, but can also convince with its gameplay: The platforming makes exploration and backtracking (this is a Metroidvania after all) a joy, and combat is fast, intuitive and fun.

Fun and gorgeous game that suffers from performance issues. Especially the challenge runs (basic equipment, sub 5h, sub 5 deaths) were pretty fun to do.

Just a goofy game, very "meh". Was fun for a bit in couch-coop, but it gets old very quickly.
