Rating: 8.7/10 - Great

One of the greatest action games of all time. The amount of style, effort and soul at display is just staggering. Fuck that worm boss fight tho, boring as shit.

good music, graphics, an interesting world and a story with a lot of potential, unfortunately the game gets too slow halfway through and the combat system is undecided as to whether it wants to be an rpg or an action game and it ends up doing neither very well

Fun, but dated game. Especially if you don't have an original DS, requires heavy use of the stylus to properly play. Recommend Tales of Almia over this, if you have to play a Pokemon Rangers game.

Nintendo once again prove to be the best game developers around. Brilliantly innovative gameplay makes this an incredibly enjoyable game, that improves and expands upon breath of the wild in pretty much every way.
However some choices were very questionable, most notably the dungeons and their rewards. The design of the dungeons was very dull and in my opinion should have been more traditional Zelda dungeons. And the sage spirits you get are really irritating to use, plus clutter up the screen. Their powers could have been tied to D-pad prompts or something.

8.5/10

It's groundbreaking in all patterns and shapes but holy fuck I hate this map, some enemies are absolute cancer and the physics based shit spindash and spin jumps are absolute horror to constantly pull off.

amazing , ground breaking , every 15 minutes somehow finds something new to surprise you that's nothing like the entire game before it

Kind of amazing how a game that plays, looks, and is mostly written in the exact same way as its predecessor can be so much worse largely due to such a downgraded soundtrack.

its neat i guess, i never really got into "cozy games" but i played this one for like 100 hours so thats saying something im sure

I can't really recommend it. 80% of the game is slow and boring, feeling like a downgraded version of Danganronpa. The last 20% is great and interesting, but it really takes like 18 hours to get to that point :(

Probably one of my favorite games ever made.

Look, I get it’s a copy and paste of a 1991 game onto a 32 bit handheld, but it’s sound design (I’m so biased oh my goshhhhh) is miles better than on the SNES.

a great little metroidvania but this game is about 3 hours longer than it needs to be. half the fun of metroidvanias is replayability but if the game is too long that's just gone

really loved the first half, great story and even better characters, but sometimes the stages felt like fillers in order for the game to spread the story-related ones on the second half of the game. The level cap in this remake is really on point, so it's always challenging and that final boss??? holy sh*t bro

pd: Canopus is the MVP
