Things I Like About Games I Don't

This list is a companion piece to Things I Dislike About Games I Don't

A lot of people have been making lists about things they enjoy in games they don't like, so here's my personal take on it.

These aren't my ten least favorite games per se, but moreso some of the most outstanding examples in my mind. That, and I genuinely can't think of any redeeming qualities for some games that I absolutely despise.

The imagery occasionally afforded by riding the sky rails across Columbia is nice sometimes.
I'm an absolute sucker for snow environments, Dead Space 3 is no different.
Mentioning the online functionality being restored feels like I'm handing out a participation trophy, but credit where it's due I guess...
Honestly? I kind of find Yuri to be a bit of a cute and endearing character before the game tactlessly throws her in the gutter.
I genuinely think this is a great looking game. The Capital Wasteland is an absolute blown out shithole that never once feels comforting in its presentation.
Giant robots are cool in just about any context.
It has a grappling hook.
The comfy "Vita slop" (as my friend affectionately put it) vibes are genuinely very real.
Margaret Moonlight fucking slays and she has the best song in the game.
The setting of a sand sunken Dubai serves as what would be a genuinely really great setting for a story of this nature.
