I playthrough this game probably once every year and love it every time. If you're a horror or FPS fan just pick it up for a couple of bucks next time its on sale.

Finished this game almost purely out of spite and still was somehow disappointed.

Iceborne is an awesome expansion for World until you get deeper into the endgame where you're more encouraged to use the Clutch Claw to tenderize parts of the monsters. This feature alone spoils the game for me nowadays as returning to it after playing Rise or earlier games in the series makes you realize just how obnoxious it is without adding anything of substance.

Wish there was no combat to be honest, as a large majority of the encounters for me just felt janky as hell. Everything else was top notch though.

This game is a chore. I could stomach spending 2-3 minutes buffing up for some encounters but I checked out pretty hard once you're introduced to the Crusade system, which at best is just a half baked rip of Heroes of Might & Magic.

I sure do love gathering my party and venturing forth just to be fireballed off screen.

There is a good game somewhere here but I couldn't find it because the first 2-3 hours are some of the most mind numbing I've ever sat through and this is coming from someone who likes their fair share of boring games like DayZ, Classic WoW & Stalker.

This game feels like more of a DLC than MWIII. There are a few quality of life and gameplay improvements versus Spiderman 1 & the Miles Morales DLC but there's no major changes, anything innovative or new outside of that. The story is decent but the pacing is pretty awful at parts.
