a real gem. classic side scrolling shooter gameplay with great pixel art and music.

cool idea on paper but mediocre in practice.
i liked the thought of being invaded by a real player to add a level of pvp to the campaign but in reality it was aggravating and felt pointless.
the pre mission ui was interesting in the way visionary leads were presented, but the inventory management part of the ui was a pain and unintuitive.
worth picking up on deep sale for the dialogue and world building. a lot of love was obviously put into that part of the game

my favorite podcast game of 2022. surprisingly packed with content and lore

tough platformer with charming characters and an introspective story. tight controls and great level design backed by an excellent soundtrack.
