A really good follow up to Persona 5. Didn’t feel as impactful as P5R, but it’s still really good.

A pretty limp closing out to Doom Eternal. Nothing added felt all that well thought out and most of the fights being in tiered rooms with a 100 enemies just felt tiring. Also it crashed twice in the few hours I took to go through it.

This game’s a lot more enjoyable on the 2nd time around.

It’s still incredibly meaningful and unique. The cracks of some underdevelopment of the characters and some poor design decisions did show up, though.

The best game play from a Grasshopper game I’ve played. Don’t like the characters as much as TSC casts, but the game as a whole is amazingly thought out.

It somehow repeats, spits on, and ignores the messages of NMH whilst also being half baked in its own right.
Fuck This Game.

A lot of heart was put into making this. Also gives me a lot to think about with No More Heroes 3.

A nice, little Action RPG that has some quirks and some not great design ideas for bosses. Pretty good overall.

I liked the bosses more and how it finished the story, but a lot the areas felt overly complex and the last dungeon went on too long. It feels like a mix between the other half of a game and a sequel.

Really liked the characters and story, but also what it added to the original simplistic 80s RPG story. I really disliked how it made had the exact same stages for all 3 routes, but that finale makes up for it.

So much of this feels soulless as an Ys game. It was probably because it’s older, but nothing felt good about its game play. The story additions didn’t feel like they clicked well with what’s been alluded to, either.

For "A Realm Reborn" Patch Quests:
This had more of a pulse than ARR, but just got better as it went on. The final hour or two and the credits are a crescendo.

Didn’t like it that much. Some of the mystery and dialogue just felt cliche or subpar. It also stretched itself too thin with not that many way to play detective. Maybe include some more court case segments next time.

There are so many little things I didn’t get on my first play through. An extraordinary experience.
