you offer spiderman the joint and he says "ew" and leaves

I got 5 of the 10 endings and I'm gonna stop there because I'm not sure where the other 5 are. Have looked around for ages, tried everything I can think of, I'm sure how you access them is obvious but I can't find them and I can't find a walkthrough so r.i.p I guess I'm done.

I really liked the atmosphere and presentation, it feels really grimey and cramped, the first time I was exploring was great, felt all surreal with these off, robotic NPC's in a really grounded and creepy atmosphere. Every room is really different and has tons going on and it means the building feels kind of alive despite how static it is functionally. I didn't really like anything else though, I wish the writing was a bit less cartoonish? A lot of the characters are cliches like Killer Clowns that I don't think fit. It does this so it can call itself a black comedy but I never really found it funny. Along with this it's really buggy, I had to restart the game 7 times to get an ending because the game kept getting stuck. Found myself getting kind of sick of the game as I played it and its mystique went away so it's probably a good thing I didn't get every ending honestly.

had fun with it for those first couple playthroughs though so might be worth trying, idk, there's no other reviews for the game rn so i feel bad leaving a kind of negative one lmao

2023

I got snake bite piercings since the last time I played something as intense as this and I've found out it makes me subconsciously chew on them which can't be good for my teeth. Other than that the game's good though.

actually the logo annoys me a bit as well, i thought it was just text saying OTXO but there's a random gun outline in the middle like they forgot to hide that layer

will probably post some actual thoughts once i beat this

i didn't like vampire survivors so i bought another version of it and very quickly realised i didn't like it. i may be stupid

their second album is my favourite, i'm so excited to see Alice Glass at Stag and Dagger

holy FUCK dude this is so FUCKING extreme dude holy SHIT

ending and length makes it feel a bit like a beta for its bigger sequel, but there's something kind of nice and flash game-ish about digging about and building up your robot guy

just not very fun. looks ok, has an achievement called "THIS IS SPARTA!" in a game from 2021 but everything you do feels weak and there's nothing that stands out about it. the definition of mid

bootleg wheatley shows off controller gimmicks on a console with no controller gimmicks

you solve picross puzzles to read about someone's ocs, it's what video games were made for

you ever have one of those games where you just feel yourself aging as you play it? not awful i guess, but i feel like i could do literally anything else rn

An expansion to F.E.A.R.! Nothing much noteworthy but adds some cool new weapons and has some fun arenas. In particular there was an office near the start which just flows together incredibly in a way that makes it feel very replayable, probably the best area to show off F.E.A.R.'s combat sandbox. I liked some sections showing off the new equipment as well. The fight after you get deployable turrets fully leans into them and it makes the game feel more like a chaotic battlefield than anything else in the previous game I can think of. You're also handed a string of enemies after you get the minigun which makes that weapon feel like god.

Feels weird complimenting such direct stuff like sections of level design but most other stuff like the aesthetic is carried over from the base game as you'd expect. The church at the start is cool! The horror section near the end felt surreal in a fun way with the classy wooden doors in this jungle of really tall concrete walls! Idk it's F.E.A.R. Extraction Point yk

Lost me a little in sections like the construction site which put an emphasis on open, outdoor areas that don't suit the game's combat or aesthetic but other than that, good!

fear innit

Suprised at how much i enjoyed this!
Thought it was just kind of PS3 Halo but it's really dedicated to its grungy, oppressive aesthetic and world. The heavy aiming and weird deemphasizing of ADS could be twisted as negatives but they add this weight to everything that I haven't felt in really any other shooter, the way you hulk round and inaccurately spray at enemies like you're in an E3 Presentation, I ended up having a great time 😌. One of those 7/10 games that's actually a cool 7/10 which makes it a 10/10 (i've rated it 4 stars so this makes no sense sorry)

i played through this in hospital, literally sick
