Probably is still one of the most quotable and funny games I've played. I beg you Rockstar please make a sequel

So I don't think this game is the greatest piece of fiction ever produced by sentient beings. But I do think It's pretty good. I think most of my thoughts on this game can be summarized by NakeyJakey's video on Rockstar's game design.

You know how everyone ( i think at least) has that one game they were really excited for and preordered, just generally hyped. This game is that for me. All I remember about this game is the "Play as anyone" system, and the twist at the end of the story that just made me roll my eyes. The system to play as anyone system has as much depth as a puddle. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't intially enjoy it but once you realize that every single time it's just go here and do X task, you just lose all hope around it. I think the ability to play as an enemy faction is kind of cool until you realize that its just a shoddy attempt at Hitman's disguise system. I don't think I can honestly recommend this game to a single person, I love Watch Dogs 1 & 2 a lot and it hurt to see Ubisoft throw another franchise down the toilet. Before I leave, yes I have played bloodlines, and no it didn't alleviate my complaints, it just expanded on watch dogs 1's protagonist. Don't play this garbage

Surprisingly one of the best open worlds I've played.

As my first Soulsborne game I was definitely greeted with a challenge at first but once i started overcoming it, I just realized how amazing this game was. The world and its atmosphere are just simply incredible. The bosses are so grotesque and it was so fun to learn how to beat them.

I'm really surprised at how much this game just sucked me in. I don't think I'll ever play a better open world game for the rest of my life to be honest.

So I for some reason prefer this to Kiwami 1 but I still this game is just okay. They tried using Yakuza 6's combat system again and oh boy it's not good. I can describe the combat with one word "clunky". Unlike Kiwami 1, the thing that saved this game for me was the games story which I consider one of the best in the series. I think this game also kind of ruined games for me for a bit after I played it. It's like all my energy for gaming got zapped by such a mid experience.

Im gonna be entirely honest here, I don't like this game. The combat is the only saving grace for me but that's just Yakuza 0's combat with an extra shine. This game I think could've improved on Yakuza 1's story by enhancing the relationship between Yumi and Kiryu while also making a Nishki a better villain. Yakuza 0 made Nishki so much more tragic in my eyes but this game I feel like didn't do enough with that imo. Also I was gonna play this on hard mode like i did on 0 but holy shit why do bosses regenerate health? It's so fucking stupid. To wrap this up, at this point I'm not even sure if I'm a fan of Yakuza 1's story or if Kiwami just ruined it for me. idk. I'm going to play the original soon so we'll see

Look this game is famous and infamous for what it's done to Rockstar, but all I really have to say is I think the Story mode is good and the Online is an abysmal piece of garbage that should be burnt to a crisp.

I got into this game and series because of RTGame's letsplay and all I can say to him is thank you. Looking back on P5R is weird to me, I like the characters, music, palaces, and really just everything, but I still can't call it my favorite after playing P3 and P4.

Out of the persona games I've played, the characters in this one always felt the most real to me. Like they're actual friends and not just pixels on a screen. idk its peak

I really expected the controls to hold me back from finishing this but surprisingly I really enjoyed MGS3 to the point I can't decide if I like MGSV more.

Was my first time playing Yakuza and still is my favorite entry in the series. The combat in this game is still some of the most fun I've had playing games tbh

Game was so good it changed my entire view on games. I played this years ago and still come back to it every year. The story may not be the best in the MGS series but it's still maybe my favorite MGS game
