A narrative and conceptual gem that really shines during the last act. At some points, it did show its age, but I guess the remake serves to remedy that. Can't complain too much about a 13-year-old game. Looking forward to completing the sequels and the other games in the expanded universe.

Pretty good 2d xcom style game

Pretty good metroidvania type game. The game really shines during its platforming, which is the majority of the gameplay, but this leaves the combat to feel like an afterthought to the rest of the game.
