The story is the best in the series, but the gameplay feels like a downgrade from the second game.

FIXED THE ENTIRE GAME. PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK

this game is truly something special and its wild that it exists

Loved this game, fun battle system that honestly is made worse by how fast you always win (don't get to experience what makes it actually fun, lol)
amazing music, actually ran pretty nicely on Switch for once with a Gust game

PowerWash Simulator delivers. I see a lot of people referring to this game as a waste of time or a guilty pleasure, but you're allowed to spend your time how you want to. I don't want to spend every moment of my life maximizing productivity or maximizing enjoyment, sometimes I just want to clean.

Became the foundation for deck-builder roguelike's and still has yet to be dethroned. Easily one of the best not only in its sub-genre, but roguelike's as a whole and a game I'm still playing frequently after years

Poison Control is significantly better than it has any right to be honestly.

I believe its saving grace is that it's a B game that wholly recognizes that it's a B game. The world designs are simple but streamlined, the music is unique and fun, and the UI is downright gorgeous. The combat is extremely bare bones, but exists primarily as a way to guide the characters and story, arguably the most well executed elements of the game, forward.

Don't start Poison Control expecting some grand, over-the-top experience. It should be treated as a simple, connected anthology of short stories and unique characters.

I would have given the game 4 stars, but unfortunately I encountered a game breaking bug. I presume this may have something to do with the loading being improved on PS5, but I'll revisit the game on PS4 when I have time.

I love One Piece more than the air I breathe. There is no other piece of media in this world I like more than One Piece, and when I heard there was a One Piece JRPG (my favorite genre of game) coming out I was absolutely through the roof. I was so excited, but when the game finally came out and I put a decent amount of time to it, I realized something. This game SUCKS. Ok I take it back it doesn't suck. It's a well put together game, runs great, and was obviously written, developed, and programmed by die hard One Piece fans. And I won't lie and say that it wasn't a treat to see the countless easter eggs, references, and just love put into it. But the combat and character progression is some of the most boring and easy I have ever played in a video game. The whole different stages gimmick is a really cool idea, but there is NOTHING to it. Nothing will ever pose an even remote challenge to you. Every battle is just use move that enemy is weak to, and you win. That's it. Even my absolute love of the source material wasn't enough to carry my enjoyment throughout the game. As a one piece fan I can recommend it just due to the sheer amount of love it exudes not only for the series, but for the fans as well. As an RPG fan, stay the heck away.

I finished Cult of the Lamb in 8 (!!) hours without any major difficulty. What saddens me is the fact that Cult of the Lamb is a roguelike game with base building/farming elements taking elements from The Binding of Isaac, Moonlighter and Frostpunk.

Cult of the Lamb's art style is very similar to Darkest Dungeon in a way if that game was a lot cuter. The art itself drawn my attention to the game at first, and after trying it out, I find out that the gameplay loop itself was essentially the mixture of some of my favorites from the genre, thrown together in a very bad way.

The game suffers from a lot of bad design choices, such as the cult aspect feels really tacked on. The game itself consists of 4 different dungeons, protected by ancient gods and their followers, who need to be slain in order for you to progress through the final challenge of the game.

The cute and charming artstyle however hides a very shallow experience with little to no weapon variety, clearly more fleshed out and useful curses (abilities), a lazy perk system (cards, that are obtained randomly or at certain vendors throughout your journey) and the mentioned cult building.

In order to progress, you need to gather cult members who need basic nessessities such as food, sleeping bags and entertainment (faith). If they are well kept, they gave you their life force, which unlock different combat mechanics. They can also worship you, which unlocks different buildings for your cult.

What is wrong with this system is that the whole social sim aspect is not fleshed out at all. Characters have different traits, but they are very paper thin. You can interact with your followers, but they are essentially just power source for you.

The combat on the other hand, can be very chaotic, because the attack indicator is just a little light for the enemies and sometimes the chaotic nature of the fight will guarantee that you will be hit at least once.

The bosses are very easy to beat, they do not have second phases and their deaths are very anti climatic. The game does not feature boss specific weapons or any kind of loot except some cosmetics, which are not that important in my opinion, mainly because you cannot visit the bases of others online. It does not matter how your tiny little cult looks, if you cannot even show it off to others!

All in all, a roguelike to be done in 8 hours is really bad. I have 48 hours in Slay The Spire, one of the best in the genre and I did not even finish that game with all the characters.

For those who seek an entry to this genre and they are more of a casual gamers, buy it! It can be fun for those who seek these elements in games (farming, building, decorating), but anyone who wants anything similar to the previously mentioned games, skip it.

While somewhat frustrating at times TotK builds on everything thing that made BOTW great and tries to improve on the weaker aspects too.

The story is the main event here for me, it all builds to the most satisfying conclusion since Twilight Princess.
