Wife’s Reaction:
“What’s this game called again? Ass Chain?”

All Cops Are Astrals:
I want to like this game more but it just kept getting in its own way. On one hand, the game has some cool, unique combat, as well as some great music. On the other hand, everything else from the cop sidequests to the story and cutscenes are a bore and it all drags the experience down.

The plot isn't video gamey at all. This isn't a story about going around the world to different temples to power up your sword to defeat god. This is a story about realistic issues like water conservation and desertification. The whole game takes place around one small town, the gameplay is about gathering resources to build everyday objects like fences and bridges, and the antagonists are normal people.
If you want a game about a small town, with all the melodrama, economics, politics that comes with it, then this is easily the best game there is. Keep in mind though that is a very long game. Even when I did every main quest as soon as it could be completed, there was a romanceable character I didn't meet until 100 hours/over a year into the game. As such it can be repetitive and lack polish, but it's still a 10/10 from me because of how uniquely realistic the plot is.

Adorable game! Absolutely lovely, a must if you like funny games. The humor and the whole design is great.

Sadly a bit short, would have wished for a longer gameplay.

Its really sad its so short, the story is interesting, the handling is fun. The game keeps you on track and the riddles are sometimes not that easy to master (tbh me and my friend are just really stupid). 10/10.

It starts strong, especially if you are a Harry Potter fan. The world design looks amazing and it is fun to explore - to a certan point.

The story is not so fun to fully, feels boring after a while. The collectings are a LOT - takes so much time, it feels like never ending. A lot of promised stuff didnt get in. Also, its a game in a magic school - no real subjects to do etc. Sad!

When the game released i had just small problems, could play it without a thing. I loved every single minute of it.

The world looks so good, so destroyed, it really takes you in.

The story is good, the ending, espcially the credits can REALLY hurt - amazing. The side quests are fine to do and over all, a lot to do.

If you are still thinking of playing it, give it a try (not on ps4 tho).

Gameplay-wise, it's literally like every other cozy indie game, maybe a little more polished. And I can only enjoy that gameplay grind for so long. The vibes are really lovely and were the reasons I chose Fae Farm above all the other farm sims, and I don't regret that. It's fine, it gave me something to do during a rough period of my life, but I won't ever return to it outside of that.

One of the best games of all time and I do not care what anyone else thinks

I don’t think i can fathom how any one can say this game is bad. I get being sad about Joel’s death but exploring Ellie’s journey of revenge due to his passing made me feel more emotional than any other game has made me feel. Exploring the often overused theme of “Revenge is bad” but i feel naughty dog did it perfectly. The gameplay using your wide range of weapons to have a blast shooting your way through Seattle. The beautiful post apocalyptic scenery shows things ruined and destroyed but still beautiful at the same time. Ellie’s conclusion still makes me tear up on every play-through. If you haven’t experienced The Last Of Us 1 and 2 you are truly missing out on peak gaming.
