I really liked Spider-Man 2, even with its inherit flaws. I gotta say loved the gameplay. Insomniac really just makes you feel .... amazing while these games. from the web-slinging to the fluid combat its pretty great and why I have it ranked so highly. The story is a bit iffy. I felt they could have gone more with the symbiote and peter stuff, he's definitely no bully McGuire . It kind of feels like they're scared for peter to be mean with few exceptions. The endgame feels a little too out there for me, but it kind of makes sense. I liked miles story well enough and how he grows. The music's pretty great. The side stuff can be boring when it comes to playing it ( the robot birds.) but I like the story stuff they do with it. Kraven was cool. Anyways this was a pretty great game, I feel i got my $70 bucks worth... but the original is still better i'm sorry.

Pizza tower is one of the best video games from last year full stop. It creativity is through the roof with its different power, ups, locales, and just the art style itself. the level design is near perfection. The challenges feel rewarding and challenging. The music is bangers, the whole Ost belongs in a museum for how good it is. If your waiting on this game don't, you will never regret it.

Doom Eternal and its dlc are great fps content that feel so great to control. The story... is a doom story, so you're not really going to pay too much attention on it. but I will admit it is pretty interesting, this game has some fascinating lore hidden deep in the codecs, or whatever they're called; and I really like how they characterize doom guy here. I gotta admit though tag 2 was kind of confusing when it came to the story but you get it in the end. The gameplay is amazing. I like how much tools it gives you so you can really play how you want, and you become a movement beast. This game has a low skill floor but a high skill ceiling which I really love about it, the exploration stuff is just the cherry on top. and i gotta say this looks great for a switch game docked and undocked. sure some textures are glitched to literal hell, but all in all it doesn't look that bad. The music is stellar, Mick Gordon did a spectacular job with it. In Conclusion worth at whatever price its at, at any given time. I forgot to mention but the multiplayers okay, I only played a little bit of it because of how dead it is.

UMVC 3 is an amazing fighting game I recommend anyone in the space who hasn't played it play. The gameplay is easy to pick up hard to master. I'd say its balanced enough, sometimes low tiers show their roughness against bullcrap like phoenix, but then you got diamonds in the rough like phoenix... wright. All these characters feel great to play with enough diversity to not really need any other modes (though some may have been appreciated this game picks up the slack) I kinda suck at explaining why this game is good but once you play it instantly click to you why this is still played in evo. each character is different but still fun, combos feel rewarding, you can really feel a mastery with a character, it's just so good. amazing game, buy this over infinite even though i've never played infinite its that good. I'm not even that good at the game but its still worthwhile pick.

The Last of Us Part II is a messy game. let me go through the other stuff first. The gameplay is very serviceable, it gets the job done. I like the new dodge mechanic and the new enemies are a nice gameplay twist. the music from what i remember was serviceable, couldn't really remember much though. Time to stop dancing around the subject the story is the most iffy part of this game. I'm just gonna come out and say it they killed Joel too early and the rest of the game feels like an excuse for why Abby did it. Ellie was dumb in going after her in the end and i feel the game didn't punish her enough for it. she could have just let it go or talked with Dina about it but NOOOO she had to go looking for her and gets trapped by ahem people who want to do very bad things. and even after killing their entire base she still wants the smoke from Abby in their final encounter. I get Ellie going after Abby in the first place she was younger and dumber, but now she had a whole new family to take care of, but new Joel being used as a golf tee and professional gas lighter tommy convince her. Abby also felt the same way as in she risked a lot of lives going to Jackson, including one of her friends who was pregnant, but her lust for revenge was just too great. The real kicker was that tommy and Joel SAVE her. I even feel that it would be a good idea for Joel to die in the sequel to the last of us, you know he's getting up there in age. But not like this man, the execution was terrible for its consequences on the story. All in all The last of us part 2 is a very messy game, it's good in gameplay and new ideas in that department get bogged down by a story that wants to excuse the character who killed the main character in the 1st game. Oh yeah one more thing I greatly enjoyed that birthday scene. I like how Joel and Ellie bounced off of each other and it really showed how much Joel cared.

Pretty good, I liked it a lot. First of the music is amazing one of the best Mario's Ost's and it's got some stiff competition. The way they integrate the jazz into Mario music is pristine. The main game is good, Great level design, tight controls, pretty interesting idea with the different characters, but they don't feel too different so if your forced to play them it's aight. also champions road is a great challenge to go for. one complaint I have is how you 100% it. why do you need o beat every level with a different character? It just feels so unnecessary because they're all fundamentally the same. This just feels like a way to pad out the 100% runtime. Also multiplayer is fun even though the crown system is weird. Bowser's Fury is great too. It adds a lot of new ideas I enjoy, again music FIRE, especially fury bowser theme. Only real complaint is that it's a little short (100% it, I'm pretty sure somebody who just wants to beat it full stop can do it in a hour) but you still get your money's worth. All in all Great game I really liked and I highly recommend it to a Mario fan. One thing though if you had this on a Wii u probably wait for a price cut even though bowser's fury is fire.

This is a great fighting game with a ton of character that I highly recommend to people in the space. First of I love how they do the story with it being more character focused, this flashes out characters way better than a netherrealm story or arcade endings. I also love the way the game looks and sounds it's just oozing personality. The fighting is real tight to and real feels like easy to pick up bard to master type stuff. My real only gripe with it (as with most fighting games) is that once your done with the story and arcade, your kinda done there's not a lot of stuff to keep you hooked or draw you back in. Anyways great fighting game, it would be cool if we got a sequel but it's probably not in the cards but yeah

Warioware megamicrogames gets the job done and not a whole lot else. I love all the new characters this game introduces who later get thier personality's fleshed but thier all pretty cool. I really like the franchises style of gameplay it's addictive yet challenging sometimes when you don't know how a microwave works and then figure it out and go "oh." Other than that (and the visual style and music being bangers) that's it. I kinda wish there was a little more but all in all a very good game and I highly recommend becuase it only takes like what 2 hours to beat? (Also there's "don't go breaking my heart" in this game for some reason?)

Luigis mansion is very good at what it sets out to do and is an older example of great atmosphere. The gameplay is a little basic but they spice it up with the boss battles and the puzzles which sometimes can be bs but rarely is it. The atmosphere is pristine it really sells the haunted mansion with the organs in the background and luigi humming really adds to the immersion and gets you sucked in the settings which can get pretty creative. Overall luigis mansion Is a good time I can see myself replaying from time to time

Scarface the world is yours is a pretty good game and recommend for people that like gta and the original movie. The story is a cool what If tony survived at the end of the movie and plotted revenge on Sosa. I feel like this a cool take on licensed games even if it cheapens the ending of the movie a bit. The gameplay has couple interesting gameplay mechanics that helps it stand out from Gta and accentuate tony like the balls meter, the way drug deals work, and other stuff makes it feel like the gamemakers were big fans of the movie and wanted to put that in a ps2. One issue is how tedious it can get for money and building your empire can be a drag at times. But overall scarface the world is yours Is a good gta clone and if you have the means you should play it.

MGS 2 is one of the best stealth games I've ever played and got me hooked on all the mgs's. The story is amazing if a little confusing to people who haven't played one but the twist and the meta stuff at the end was top notch and becomes more real every passing day. To add onto the story part the side character arcs were very interesting and this game fleshes out almost every character. the gameplay is immaculate if dated, sometimes I had to look up how to do stuff because the game mostly just throws you in and says "go." The Soundtrack is also amazing so many bops to set the mood but also to put on while doing other stuff. Overall MGS2 is Amazing and if you haven't checked it out you NEED to but sometimes it shows your age and is not very forgiving to new people.

Battlefield 1 is battlefield perfected. It has a very powerful campaign seeing all aspects of WW1 especially the airplane one which makes you think how dubious people can tweak thier stories around. The multiplayer is great too with operations being very fun.

Doom is a very good Game that surprisingly holds up due to the level design and the audio. The level design was very good and its hard to explain. I liked that no matter how much you were taking the game seriously it catered to both options. if you just want to hang out and play doom the level design lets you just run around shooting demons ands getting keycards. if you want to go deeper you absoulelty can and the game rewards you for it with early gun unlocks and a chainsaw that just shreds demons. the core gameplay while basic is still fun. The audio just compliments everything from the music playing in the background to the sounds of the guns to even alerting you when your about to walk into a room chock full of demons its cherry on top of the cake.

This game's very great not much more I can say about it since I reviewed each one individually but after playing this I can see why Nathan drake was one of Playstation's mascots

Uncharted 3 surprisingly is the one were this franchise clicked for me. In uncharted 2 I think I just expected too much from the barebones stealth and since the first one I knew this was playable Indiana jones but this game made me rethink uncharted 2. This game is just improved 3 with less expectations. The shootings a bit better with the grenade system, the climbing's a bit better because everything you can climb has a slight twinge of yellow. I like the first half's character dialogue a lot especially with cutter and the crazy setpieces in the later half. The puzzles are a huge improvement since one and two with you sometimes having to use your head and not rely completely on the book. I just really liked this one probably becuase it felt more cinematic to me even though looking back 2 was probably better. also the story when looking into it at all is stupid but a little sadly I kinda wrote off the stories instead seeing it as more of getting these characters together and backdrop for the setpieces and treasure.
