Big character, big hitbox, hot gaming action!
Marvelously short, deliciously challenging and impressively variable, Atomic Robo-Kid Special takes the initial structure of the Arcade version and proves, once and for all, that the video game console wins conclusively against any arcade.

She's wonderful. I only met her recently but I can feel our bond beyond the time we have spent together thus far. Full of energy, she has a majestic tackle. I can't contain myself when I'm with her. I feel like I was born to love her.

I don't think I have to even finish Scenario C to admit this is one of the best games I've ever played.

Having played Scenario C, I can confirm it is definitely the best RPG I've ever played. It has as much soul as any of the best RPGs you can think of, and more.

This game is so hot and tight.

The world ends. The music changes. You find an airship, the music changes again.

When your arm can't move fast enough to block the plastic ball your little brother threw at you.

It matters not how you play, this game will give you a lot to think about. Regardless of your monitor, you will feel yourself reflected on it.

A tactile experience. A sensible game.

This game is not my favorite, but if I had to pick one game to replay to completion before I die, this would be it.

Quite possibly the best Role-Playing game ever made. If the genre had followed it instead of Final Fantasy VII (1997), many games today would be much better.

No stars, because one can't rate an incomplete game. This is but Disc 1 of Persona 2, and thus it performs an incredible magic trick. The game is real easy, even if you know little about it, because it is the tutorial for what Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (2000) would throw at us.

One of the most important games of all time, if only for cosmical accient. Elsewhere I may have claimed, jokingly, that all Symphony of the Night had to do was do what Metroid did, and then everybody started throwing around the Metroidvania word. This is true, and I do not think the game should be scolded by that. Almost no Great video game comes fully formed out of a vacuum.

With that said, Rondo of Blood is a bit more fun to replay, but make no mistake: this is a masterpiece.

Enjoy this peak, only a few Super Nintendo games would be able to even gaze at its bottom.
