Where's the best place to start? I tried the game years ago and turned it off after a few hours because it didn't really grab me. Now I've given it another try and I have to say it's become one of my favorite games.

I think the best way to describe the game is, "an Ubisoft game if they took their job seriously." You have this big and beautiful open world that's not too big and not too small, you have special weapons and gadgets for the fascinating fauna, you have a story that's far from the usual and not only fits the current zeitgeist but also keeps you captivated, and you have characters that show more depth than many main characters.

Of course, there are minor issues like Alloy not being able to climb everywhere, which can be annoying, or the fact that you can "only" ride three of the robots, but that's nitpicking at a high level.

Technically, it's also very good. I never had any problems dropping below 60 FPS at 2k with a 6700xt on high settings, and the menu makes many things easier. You can quickly switch between monitors, change sound sources, and adjust things like difficulty or HUD on the fly. That may not be important for everyone, but especially when you want to switch from PC to TV, many games make it difficult rather than easy. It's nice to see what it's like "if it just works."

I think Horizon Zero Dawn is a must-play for anyone who likes open-world games, great worlds, and good stories.

Interesting, short and simple. Its like the Child of Dishonored, Hitman and Wolfenstein

Play any other narration game and you 1. Will have more fun 2. Skipe horrible Controls, Performance and Combat 3. You will have an ending that isnt a forced mystery

There are some minor Issues and bugs, also performance problems especially in the City of Baldur's Gate but everything else is just fantastic. It will be a Game of the decade like Skyrim was especially when Larian releases the modding tool and fixes some of the performance. I cant wait to start a new play through every year.

Exactly 11h 35min till Baldur's Gate III releases and I just finished Shadow of Arm. I now played both OG BG games and I have to say that BG II was the least fun experience.

First of all the beginning for me was the first down side because I did not play with Jaheira or even met her in BG I and I had to kill Minsk in BG I do too a mistake with his quest on my side.
So spawning in with my Char just to be told how many creat adventures I had with the woman I never met was not the best experience. That thing aside I just couldnt enjoy the Story as much as in BG I.

I was invested in my char, my companions and the sword coast of BG I but BG II didnt tingle me as much as BG I did.
I am however glad that we get a turned base BG III and not action compat because the compat was a thing I couldnt enjoy either in BG I or BG II

I played it because as of now BG 3 is 10 Days and 14 hours away and I cant wait so I thought I give the og's a try. First of all I only really played Divinity 2 since the other CRPGS like Solest or Pillars of Eternity arent my kind of game. Baldur's Gate definitly wasnt a bad or boring experience. The Fight system was a little bit underwhelming exspecially since I dont like non Turn based combat in crpgs. The companions where the biggest flaw in my opinion. I had to kill Minsk do to the fact that his quest had an timer that I wasnt aware of and I didnt even meet Jahira since I walked to the mines before going to the Friendly Arms Inn. Also I had some mixe up in the Voicelines my charackters would switch between English and German (Native language) all the time. But overall I did find my self imagining how grade this game must have been when it came out. I grow up with Skyrim, Witcher and GTA but only the Imagination to come home after school and play something like this? Man this must have been crazy back in the days.

At the end they should have cut a bit of the story to conecentrate more on the technical thinks but overall does it feels like a better version of Far Cry with some RDR2 and Last of Us elements mixed wihtin.

9 / 10 Pokemon Game. I played the Story in 60 Hours and still have the late game in front of me. There are some really good ideas in this game that would improve the main series of Pokemon trastically. However I did not like the leveling / Grind while playing the hard mode. Setting a level cap and than giving me enemys that are 5 lvl over the level cap isnt that fun especially when you have to grind A LOT in the late game. I managed to beat the Elite 4 / Champ with a team arround level 70 just to get my a** kicked by the first trainer I encounterd in the after game with a level 83 Pokemon

Waypoints wouldn't be too much to ask for. Running around glueless for Minutes till you have to google how you can proceed isn't my choice of fun gameplay tbh.
