Games With Perfect Scores from IGN, GameSpot, EGM, Edge OR Famitsu
Personal list that I might use for How Long to Beat's Gaming Challenge if they use it, but even aside from that I am curious and decided to put this list together. Notes will mention which of the five publications gave it a perfect score. List is valid up to December 14th, 2023.
I tried to get a link to as many of these reviews as possible, however some I could not get due to deletion or website issues. The Famitsu reviews also frequently felt impossible to find, especially in english: If anyone can find them then let me know. Similarly if I missed anything, let me know and I'll add it!
Games were roughly ordered based on how many perfect scores they had. A quick cheat sheet:
All Five: Ocarina of Time
Four: Grand Theft Auto IV -> Tears of the Kingdom
Three: Super Mario Galaxy 2 -> Skyward Sword
Two: Resident Evil 4 Remake -> Death Stranding
One: Everything Pokemon Red and beyond.
