Fun as hell, at least until you try playing the actual game instead of Zombie Escape or Minigame servers.

Between its fast-paced gameplay, sound design and variety of weapons and enemies, replaying this never gets old.

I said back when this came out that I hoped it would bide my time waiting for Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers to release.
I haven't touched the game for a long time now, moving on to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and its Booster Pass instead. Such is life.

The Source Engine jank I know and love, except it actually isn't a Source Engine game!
Unfortunately though, Deep Rock Galactic took all of its thunder.

Super Meat Boy, but as an FPS, with an actually innovative use of cards, and featuring the bombshell that is Violet. Needless to say, I love it.
But maybe the soundtrack was overhyped, and maaaybe I turned off the voices as soon as the first cutscene ended.

Looking up a wiki for this game before finishing it might be one of the biggest regrets I've had in my entire life.

...I don't know man, it's just more Isaac Rebirth, some things done well and other things done poorly.

A DLC so bad that Kilburn, the lead developer of Antibirth and Repentance, basically rage-quit at the idea of fixing The Void and Delirium.

The true second wind that the Rebirth incarnation of Isaac desperately needed... but at the end of the day, it still wasn't as good as Antibirth.

The second most depressing case of locked 30FPS behind CTR Nitro Fueled... until you find a mod to unlock it, in which case it becomes one of the best roguelites ever.

This is among the most polished roguelites, but it also has some of the most baffling design choices out of any roguelite I've played. Did I really need to free a jailed NPC just to unlock a mode that makes the game faster?

The absolute pinnacle of "short but sweet" in the video game industry.

I tried really hard to like this, but even after unlocking Bumbo the Weird, the game is so obnoxiously slow-paced that I can hardly bother to invest in it further.

2016

Maybe the artstyle wasn't the best for the series, but given the hindsight of Doom Eternal, this has aged pretty damn well.

2018

Sometimes, a game doesn't need to be innovative in order to be good.
