What the guy who made Inscryption made right before he made Inscryption, has a lot of the charm from all his games in it and very 4th wall breaking, and also goes over some cool games with parody, while also telling an interesting story about game dev.

Feels a little darker than I was expecting, not proper "wow wtf", but like final fantasy dark. Pretty art.

Super cute story of different artists/academics as they struggle with their time period, craft, etc over 4 (based on memory) stories plus a end conclusion one to wrap them vaguely together.

Passable 2d platform shooter with couch co op

Great couch co op game where your skills can interact with the world in creative ways beyond just combat.

Tough asf instant death (quick reload into floor you're on) game with a lot of style but not enough to fully grasp onto the story/world.

An improvement based on my memory of both games in gameplay, but not much in the overall world/characters.

Unique little adventure but not very replayable. It's an experience, but one that gives you the option to choose your dialogue to change how things go, so not only a gallery of pretty walking.

Oozes with charm and character, going from location to location is a bit boring though after a while, not upset I beat it, but not rushing to play through it again all these years later.

2017

Great gameplay with skill trees that push is well past souls-likes, fun bosses, and overall just a nice comfort game weirdly for me.

Fun for a bit couch co op for when you want to have wacky weirdness with a friend.

One of the indie games I think about when I think about charming and unique art style indie games. Time loop where you try to find out how a murder is done, and also how you are going to make it NOT happen without getting directly involved besides playing in rooms that no one else is in to manipulate the environment to your ends (no one dying)

Game is also just unique in it's art design.

The search and find are more interesting than the rest of the game, and don't come often, but overall just a good breath of fresh air if you need something from a genre you don't touch much.
