A massive upgrade over Witcher 1 with a very interesting narrative, great characters and fun side quests. There's still a lot of clunk though and it very much feels like the middle point in a formula that's not quite there yet. Excited to finally check out the supposed best game now though.

Fun if you put on Initial D music and play with a Honda Civic

Fun art style, fun music and fun cutscenes. The gameplay is absolutely miserable. Fuck this.

Best Shovel Knight game so far. Plague of Shadows disappointed me with it's lackluster changes to the original game and confusing focus on crafting and awkward movement. Specter of Torment takes a different approach and completely revamps the game with very slick movement and level design. It's a blast from start to finish.

Phenomenal, absolutely beautiful and incredible. David Wise has done it again.
Oh and the game is pretty decent as well.

Love this game. It's simple but so very effective and people go absolutely insane with the editor. Especially now that 2.2 has come out I've been having so much fun grinding out hard platformer levels and seeing what crazy stuff people come up with.

Average bad sports game but it's a lot of fun if you're playing with your dad that's really into the sport and knows how the game works and you play like a braindead monkey slamming your players full speed into the other team without even knowing the rules or controls and still win.

I didn't play the original but this Remaster has clearly insane amounts of respect and passion towards the original game. The character animations are so expressive and fluid and the game is littered with fun details. They've done a fantastic job modernizing it but still keeping the NES era bs that made those old classics so fun.

Entertainingly bad if you're a fan of the movies

The music is absolutely phenomenal and the visuals are amazing. Sadly everything else is just not that great.

It has a lot of amateurish design and some of the bosses are a bit jarring but overall it's a very solid metroidvania. The platforming and movement is hands down the best part of the game and I'd recommend it on that alone.

Simple but extremely effective. The story and characters are well written and the music is excellent. It's one of those games you finish in one sitting yet end up very satisfied.

Incredible atmosphere and sound design. Gameplay and story are pretty good but this game is just elevated to the next level by it's environments.
