this game came out (on switch) two weeks ago and I have played 35 hours of it...I don't normally do that...help I see it when I close my eyes (I have more or less finished it now though)

1993

a very charming collectathon, with a fun movement system

I quickly got sucked into it and I think it's a strong contender for game of the year for me, quirky platformers like this are entirely my thing

pretty neat little game

unfortunately I'm not really the kind of person for momentum platformers because doing multiple inputs in a row in short order is just not really something I can manage

this game is essentially just an introduction to a handful of game genres, certainly doesn't go super in-depth into any of those genres, but it's some nice, simple fun, as long as you're fine with simple (which I am)

it has baby monkey so it can't be bad

baby is very cute I love him but I suck at this game

the best zelda game on switch don't @ me

game lets you make a custom shirt so I drew a breadbug (from pikmin) on one and wore it the entire game which means it's one of the best games ever made

it's a fun little unique concept for a game but man are the controls ever rough to get a hang of

pretty easy roguelike that's a fun little reimagining of splatoon gameplay

an adventure game that's masquerading as a platformer, and what an adventure it is

I liked this game for the most part. I've got some issues here and there, but it's a solid time overall. A unique story concept that I'm totally down for, a wonderfully-written Harley Quinn, and the combat's not too bad. Unfortunately, the coolest gameplay sequence happens like 2 hours into the game, and the issues I have with most open world games are here in this one as well.

what if pikmin 2 was a whole lot easier, okay that's what this game is

the first three pikmin games are all unique from each other, offering differing experiences from each other that allows them all to stand on their own, but then 4 comes along and just tries to do 2 again and...I'm not totally a fan of that

night missions could have set the game apart from 2, but every single enemy dies so easily that the night missions don't /really/ feel like tower defense missions, moreso just going through the motions killing things

like, it's still a very good game, but it's missing that uniqueness, and, as somebody that loved 2, I'd rather just play 2 over this one
