he must build his boat...

its weird to play this and fucking. arzette back to back but i quite liked it! the best parts of the game were absolutely the parts when weather conditions or other events left you needing to maintain parts of your ship despite them being battered and fucked with. that volcano chase right at the end was really cool

incredibly charming little game! clearly a love letter surrounding nintendo's cdi games and the culture surrounding them, its perfectly serviceable in what it sets out to do, even if it can't exactly capture the odd, surreal energy of The Faces of Evil and The Wand of Gamelon. i'll definitely be playing more arzette if they keep making more, which it seems like they intend to do!

...i still fucking hate limited run games, since when were they a publisher???

i dont know how to play but i made a ship spin 2,000 m/s and then ejected every crew member and watched them instantly explode

2020

im going all city mom you cant stop me get out of my life

nabbit is an autistic baddie who is hyperfixated on mario theyre just like me fr

its kind of impossible to rate what is essentially a 30 minute minigame collection to teach people how to use a wii remote. its cute

that dog looks so fucked up its unreal

that ending is way too fucking LONG yo

we love katamari was always one of the best katamari games, and i'd say this is an instance where a remaster can stand next to, or even above the original purely because of the QoL changes (royal reverie is pretty fun too)

the opening half is so strong it almost excuses the ending sections for being boring and tedious, i can see why this gripped people so hard when it came out

stereotyping is a bit of a bummer, why'd they do that?? otherwise its a pretty fun time, its a little weird to see a game with such an open development cycle like this get actually finished

captain olimar is still the worlds funniest video game character to me. whyd they do that to him? poor guy
