This game is for children. It’s phenomenal for them. My daughters and I beat it this morning and they were enraptured every second of it. If you are on this site you are not the target audience lol

It’s got everything he loved: little kids who are actually immortal gods, dark shiny assault weapons, tiny imported sports cars, and big blue skies.
RIP Akira Toriyama

A great fan game. You can tell tons of effort had been put into it over years of development. Probably one of the best Flash games I've ever played.

I have a love/hate relationship with this game. The movement is incredible and very freeing. It really excels at what it sets out to do and there are times when the game really works. However, some of the levels were just so frustrating. There were times I would spend nearly an hour on just one or two levels, which really killed the pace. I am really impressed with this game, but also find it just too much sometimes.

This really wasn't for me. The controls were frustrating and the level design was annoying. I'm glad others are enjoying it though.

Coming back to Rayman after 18 years was a sad wake-up call. It's incredibly difficult, but not in a challenging way. It's more about memorizing the levels and knowing what's coming next. This was great when I was a kid with only one good game on my PC and plenty of time to commit each level to memory, but it's difficult to enjoy now.

A ver, coged un señor japonés. Que le flipe Dungeons and Dragons. Que decida hacer un videojuego de eso donde todo es mediocre menos el combate que es buenísimo. Y así se hace este juego.

Dude this fucking game...
What an absolute pleasure of a video game to have in my life.
The story and characters are pretty simple, but very very charming. It was confident with its humor and became infectious because of it.
The gameplay is just MWAH! This rhythm game meets character action is something I think always sounds cool on paper, but could never be executed well...
Until now apparently???
This is perfectly done. The amount of reliance on the rhythm game portion feels so balanced with your actual skills in reactions and movement. You end up getting into this zen, where you really do just "feel the beat".
And the attention to detail on every element of the game is stunning. All enemy animations, walk cycles, background elements; all move to the beat of the music. It creates this super natural ability to sync your brain with the game. It all comes so naturally. And feels amazing because of it.
The use of licensed music was kinda awesome. I know some can find it a little cheesy, but idc it was really cool and elevated the games vibes so well.
Speaking of; the aesthetics and tone this game goes for is so authentically inspired. It doesn't feel too referential or trite. It all feels like an team of artists making what they wanted to make. And that always makes the best video games.
The only gripes I have are the some of the skills felt useless compared to spamming the "call your friend in" button.
And the post game content I didn't care for. Basically is just "run through the levels again and find stuff". Could see the appeal in a repeat playthrough, but not a game that I felt a need to 100% at all.
Other than that, easily my game of 2023. Crazy how it just popped up outta nowhere.

This is my most replayed Fire Emblem game and it's still so great. The only issue I have is the plot holes that are kinda noticeable in the story but other than that, I generally love everything. The cast of characters, the maps, the mechanics, the music. This is a perfect game to get into the series!

a really good metroidvania that gets away with a lot of shit that people criticize the later games for
