What this series means to me is very hard to put in words, so I won't; for now atleast.
What I will say, though, is that it's an experience of a lifetime that has helped me grow over the years among other things and I am very grateful it even exists.

This game has shown me just how much the series is going to keep meaning to me until I am no more and even beyond that. My eyes hurt and are dried out from how much I cried and I don't think they'll ever heal.

AHHHHH AFTER THE DISAPPOINTMENT THAT WAS AC BROTHERHOOD I DIDNT EXPECT THIS, BUT REVELATIONS WAS SO GOOD

Ezio actually had more of a character this time around, the assassination targets actually made sense, the new location was so beautiful and nice to traverse, Yusuf and Sofia were such a nice additions to the cast, we got to see more of AltaΓ―r and how his journey ended and at the same time we got to see Ezio's journey end aswell. I don't think I actually have as much complaints about the game as I do Brotherhood, if I actually do have any which do not come to mind, but I loved this game wholeheartedly.

This review was written before the game released

pinnacle of fiction nothing comes close

Update:
I was right.

Crashed in the character creator and didn't bother to start it up again

i loved it when devil said "i think i may cry."

RGG Masterclass yet again showing how it's done.
Man, this game may be a Yakuza game but everything about it was so different and honestly I loved every second of it.
Also top notch music too

THERE'S A WHOLE IN THE BUCKET

I just realized I haven't written a review about one of my most favorite games of all time, so here goes.

Katana Zero. I once saw this game in a video about "unknown indie games" and this one was what piqued my interest the most. I am a huge indie game fan and even if at the time I hadn't played many, I knew I was gonna have fun with this one. The gameplay looked really fun, the music was amazing and the concept about being basically a hitman, but instead clearing out entire buildings seemed really cool to me. What I did not expect going in was to get attached to the characters, let alone love the story as much as I do as to praise it as one of gaming's, if not fiction's, greatest. Everything down to the very last minute detail was an extreme joy to witness as I was slowly progressing through the game. Not to mention the little tiny comedy sequences in the game still are some of the most memorable moments in gaming for me. What I expected the least however is for the game to leave me speechless, confused and down right shocked with the ending. I could go on for hours on end why this game is brilliant and why Justin Strander is a genius of storytelling, but not even that would do it justice.

If you haven't played the game yet, please do so. You may not come out as satisfied as I did, but you will definitely come out with an experience to be remembered.

"Twenty-eight years in that godforsaken jungle. Killing soldiers wasn't so bad... I hardly remember it."

Good concept, pretty good execution, just no substance whatsoever.
Hope their next game actually turns out to do or even be something

Cyberpunk 2077

Been wanting to play this game since I saw that E3 trailer and I finally bought it two weeks ago. Expectations were still sky high, even after that rough launch, I had faith that there was something worthwhile in this game. Turns out, it was the whole game. I could tell it was gonna be a great one early on. It had an interesting premise, gunplay was great too (which was something I was really excited for since I love looter shooters), the characters were all interesting too. Nothing could prepare me for the amazing story I was about to experience. Not even just the main story, the side missions were great in that department too. My only complaint would be what everyone's heard over and over, even with the new patches: the bugs, which I've had quite a few of. Couldn't deter me from having one of the greatest gaming experiences in forever, however. I have been moved quite a lot in this game in a brand new way. I still have so much more to do and explore in this game, so I am not quite done just yet, but even if I were, my opinion would only improve.

May update the review when I'm fully done or just completely make another

Your usual RGG remake (πŸ˜’), but at the same time your usual RGG game and story (😁😁😁)

About the game in itself:
Amazing fucking game from start to finish man, I haven't had this much fun with a game in a LONG while. There's nothing quite like an RGG game and I will always be grateful for it. Story grabs you in and spins you around in many ways but it culminates in a perfect way. The gameplay is fun as per usual, took a bit to get used to since it's not the usual RGG gameplay, but it was fun nonetheless with all the styles. More some than the others, but that's bound to happen. While I only did like 50% of the side content that didn't disappoint either so I had a great time with the game.

About the remake:
While the game being very good, let's talk about the "Kiwami" aspect of it.
I had high hopes that RGG Studio would finally be able to make a great and faithful remake. I was somewhat disappointed in both regards. There are a couple huge bugs in cutscenes, that just ruin the whole cutscene, like character models disappearing. Main one that comes to mind is the one reveal in Teradaya. (I'm not sure if it's because I am playing on an Xbox One though.) There are also a bunch of typos in the dialogue of the game. And while I totally appreciate them bringing back some popular characters like the lieutenants from 0, I absolutely despise the fact it came at the cost of other characters. Other than that though, unlike the other two remakes, the game remained essentially pretty faithful from what I saw, though that's probably cuz this was more of a port from engine to engine than a proper full remake. All in all I believe this was pretty rushed.

Overall however, at the end of the day it's still an RGG game so it's always gonna be "perfect" in my eyes, but I really can't ignore these issues with the remakes. I really wish they would invest more time in properly bringing these games, either old or unlocalized, back to wider audiences. The DLC thing is a whole another problem, that I won't get into, but I really hope RGG sees the error in their ways.

Regardless, thank you RGG for another masterpiece 🫑

I am going to blow my brains out, thanks

Thanks for everything, Cumman, enjoy your retirement

Very interesting style of game. I liked the puzzles but sometimes it felt like they were too much in your face, however I feel like that is something you can get used to. The side stuff like the gizmos, painting and inn customizing were really engaging stuff which made me really want to continue doing more puzzles. Story was alright until like the last 2 chapters which were really great.
Overall amazing game and excited to see what else this series has to offer.

Oh wow they actually said it this time
