What this series means to me is very hard to put in words, so I won't; for now atleast.
What I will say, though, is that it's an experience of a lifetime that has helped me grow over the years among other things and I am very grateful it even exists.
This game has shown me just how much the series is going to keep meaning to me until I am no more and even beyond that. My eyes hurt and are dried out from how much I cried and I don't think they'll ever heal.

Been wanting to play this game since I saw that E3 trailer and I finally bought it two weeks ago. Expectations were still sky high, even after that rough launch, I had faith that there was something worthwhile in this game. Turns out, it was the whole game. I could tell it was gonna be a great one early on. It had an interesting premise, gunplay was great too (which was something I was really excited for since I love looter shooters), the characters were all interesting too. Nothing could prepare me for the amazing story I was about to experience. Not even just the main story, the side missions were great in that department too. My only complaint would be what everyone's heard over and over, even with the new patches: the bugs, which I've had quite a few of. Couldn't deter me from having one of the greatest gaming experiences in forever, however. I have been moved quite a lot in this game in a brand new way. I still have so much more to do and explore in this game, so I am not quite done just yet, but even if I were, my opinion would only improve.
May update the review when I'm fully done or just completely make another

Very interesting style of game. I liked the puzzles but sometimes it felt like they were too much in your face, however I feel like that is something you can get used to. The side stuff like the gizmos, painting and inn customizing were really engaging stuff which made me really want to continue doing more puzzles. Story was alright until like the last 2 chapters which were really great.
Overall amazing game and excited to see what else this series has to offer.

Originally played this game when I was like 12 but it left a lasting impression on me ever since.
People say that the game is not subtle, but I don't believe that this is the point at all. If anything it goes to show how well it gets across its point, if even a 12 year old gets the message behind this game. Hate breeds hate. Hate breeds violence. Violence breeds violence. Everything it needs to get to that point is just a little push. Any uninformed person can read an intentionally vague article that was just made to get more clicks, or viewers in this case, and have their whole perspective on something change. What the game fails to depict, however, is that it goes beyond media aswell. Stuff like this is also just spread from word-of-mouth, be it family, friends or even aquaintances, which in turn gets perpetually worse the more it goes on. Doesn't even have to be news or aquiantances either. Lately there's just people that say stuff people already know and attach it to something completely deranged, so atleast they're not WHOLLY wrong. It goes from people online saying covid is a government operation to control us; to Andrew Tate, Sneako and the likes saying we're part of the "Matrix" and that certain groups of people are not normal.
All in all, this game says more than people give it credit for than "Le society is le bad."

A great step up from MMR: Open Your Eyes. The levels were harder, the gameplay felt smoother, there was a proper story this time and the characters are great. The soundtrack was great too and fit so well with the levels and game in general.
The official dub on youtube was so good too and made me get even more attached to the characters.
All in all, fucking awesome and I can't wait for Rainpour to see what it brings.
