1998
Haven't played the original, so I can't say how bad this remaster was, but I've encountered some bugs. Some graphical issues where the textures started spazzing out, a few frame drops, at some points the dialogue would repeat itself a few times and in a cutscene a character's pupils were screwed up, which made him just side-eye the entire cutscene, being the most notable ones.
Otherwise all in all a great solid game with some fun and challenging gameplay. The story was phenomenal and I loved the characters a lot and I grew attached to them very quickly.
Having played the original's remake and this and having loved them both makes them one of my favorite game series now.

AHHHHH AFTER THE DISAPPOINTMENT THAT WAS AC BROTHERHOOD I DIDNT EXPECT THIS, BUT REVELATIONS WAS SO GOOD
Ezio actually had more of a character this time around, the assassination targets actually made sense, the new location was so beautiful and nice to traverse, Yusuf and Sofia were such a nice additions to the cast, we got to see more of Altaïr and how his journey ended and at the same time we got to see Ezio's journey end aswell. I don't think I actually have as much complaints about the game as I do Brotherhood, if I actually do have any which do not come to mind, but I loved this game wholeheartedly.

While I was expecting way more as a successor to MGS2 after the ungodly amount of praise, I was a bit disappointed to find out Kojima instead took a completely different path unlike the other 2 games. Though I won't sit here and lie that I didn't enjoy this game. While I cannot speak much on the gameplay itself since I watched a playthrough due to not being able to play the game (thanks Konami), the story was really good and the new characters that were introduced were especially great. A bit more different than the past game where the story is a bit more convoluted, Metal Gear Solid 3 had a bit of a more straightforward story, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. While I had some issues with it, that being The Boss not getting enough screentime to fully get attached or Raikov's character just being there as a parody to Raiden and adding almost nothing to the story, I still loved the game.

I just realized I haven't written a review about one of my most favorite games of all time, so here goes.
Katana Zero. I once saw this game in a video about "unknown indie games" and this one was what piqued my interest the most. I am a huge indie game fan and even if at the time I hadn't played many, I knew I was gonna have fun with this one. The gameplay looked really fun, the music was amazing and the concept about being basically a hitman, but instead clearing out entire buildings seemed really cool to me. What I did not expect going in was to get attached to the characters, let alone love the story as much as I do as to praise it as one of gaming's, if not fiction's, greatest. Everything down to the very last minute detail was an extreme joy to witness as I was slowly progressing through the game. Not to mention the little tiny comedy sequences in the game still are some of the most memorable moments in gaming for me. What I expected the least however is for the game to leave me speechless, confused and down right shocked with the ending. I could go on for hours on end why this game is brilliant and why Justin Strander is a genius of storytelling, but not even that would do it justice.
If you haven't played the game yet, please do so. You may not come out as satisfied as I did, but you will definitely come out with an experience to be remembered.
"Twenty-eight years in that godforsaken jungle. Killing soldiers wasn't so bad... I hardly remember it."
