Easily one of the best looter shooters I've ever played. There may have been better games that have come out more recently, but there is something cozy about this game in particular. The humor isn't for everyone and it certainly can get a bit repetitive, but for its time it was a revolutionary game, and also still the best in the franchise in my opinion.

It is exactly what it was supposed to be. A great remaster of a beloved old school RPG. While there's a not ton of substance to the game in general, it's a classic for a reason. Sometimes you just want to play a simple RPG where you fight monsters and level up. This is that game.

Not much more to say that hasn't been said. If you haven't played Terraria at this point, you've probably been living under a rock. Hundreds of hours of survival, building, 2D sidescroller combat with light RPG elements make this game one of the most iconic indie games out there. Clearly a labor of love by the developers, who have consistently added more and more content to their $9.99 game. Play it.

War never changes. Unless you use mods. Many, many mods.

Fantastic story that will probably make you cry. I mean yes there's boobs, but that's not the point I promise.

Before Baldur's Gate 3 came an equally amazing gem of a game from Larian. Without the shackles of the D&D 5E system, I feel like this game had so much more creativity in combat to offer. It is to this day probably my favorite modern game. The modding scene on PC definitely helped it out as well. I think BG3 with open mod tools may someday reach this level, but until then I will always treasure D:OS2 just a little bit more.

One of those quirky games you play on a whim. Basically a drug trip encapsulated in video game form. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic collection of the GBA Castlevania games. While these games aren't too hard to find and play by other means, its great to have them on PC, with some bonus QoL and polish. Not much was updated for the games themselves though, which is ok. As an achievement hunter, its always a bonus to be able to play older games like this with achievements to go for.

Now please bring the DS titles. Please.

Such a fun game to play with friends. Your first experience will be the scariest, and then it just becomes absolutely hilarious. Playing with in game voice chat and hearing your friend let out a scream and get cut off will never not be funny. Add mods to the equation and it makes a game that I will certainly return to again and again

Don't think too hard and just enjoy the beautiful story being told. And then get kicked in the gut several times, rewind time and get kicked in the gut several more times.

If you can look past the sometimes awful dialogue, the XCOM plus card battler system in place in this game is terrific. If they had made a mode where you can just engage in the combat without story, I'd probably give it a higher rating.

Certainly not a bad city builder by any means, but overall it does not have much staying power. Once I mastered it, I had little to no interest in returning. It does have a fair amount of charm though!

2018

As others have said... Man, everyone is hot.

anyways, top tier roguelike with a compelling story, which is a rarity. Top it off with snappy gameplay and a great art style and you've got a fantastic game.

2009

For its time it was THE quintessential co-op puzzle game to play, and for good reason. While not particularly challenging, this game will have you and your co-op partners laughing, and yelling, with each other for the entire runtime, which is admittingly quite short.

I love that games like this can exist. Just the weirdest possible experience that is almost impossible to explain.
