Abandoned Old Friends
Taking submissions for the games you havent opened in the longest time, which you have the biggest play time in. For e.g mine is Skyrim with 300 hours, not played since 2018. You can also include why you think that is if you want

Warframe for me, also 300 hours. Loved messing around with the guns and the cool movement for so long but eventually just kinda realised that the only thing to do in the game was grind the same maps endlessly. (started and stopped in 2018, idk if the game is still like that)
Garry’s Mod, 700 hours. Not opened since 2014? That can’t be right. Wow.
Another big one of mine is TF2, put 1600+ hours into it during my early/mid teens and still think it's one of the best multiplayer games ever made despite not really playing it since, glad it's having a sort of revival recently.
Dota 2. 500+ hours. Last I time I played was in 2015. I started with the old one back in Warcraft 3. Jumped on the new one when Valve had their own version. Its good, but the amount of toxicity, high skill ceiling and investment in going 45min+ matches constantly back when I was younger burned me out. I still love the game for introducing me to Moba's, and talking with wonderful people, but there are other Moba's around I think are more gentle in easing newcomers and having more fun.
Civ V - 300 hours; havent opened since 2019
Minecraft. 3500+ hours. Haven't opened since December 2019.
Vagrant Story. Completed it 12 times over 1000 hours in total, could beat the hardest boss in the game with no equipment in two punches.
Love the game, I still haven't played anything with the cinematography displayed in it and the localisation was amazing. I simply burnt out and moved on. It's a special game to me still though.
I mean look at this
Glorious.

ffXIV. a new expansion is announced and i dipped out before endwalker, but i have over 3000 hours logged on steam. obviously with it being an mmorpg there's a ton of downtime in there, a lot of it just talking with friends while fishing or whatever, but... yeahhh. i don't wanna get too deep into it, but for various reasons it no longer felt like it was 'mine' (i started to feel like i was along for someone else's ride and it soured things for me). i loved that game and i loved my character -- boo kismet, named after my cat. some day i'll go back to it, maybe.
For me, this is an old old friend. Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. I don't even imagine this is still around anymore, but I stopped playing it around 2003/2004. I used to spend an unhealthy amount of time playing this in my late teen years.
For me it's WoW. Thousands of hours in that thing and I shook the habit in 2018.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (2005), I wouldn't count it except the last few times I tried to get it going on LAN the GOG update from 2017 ironically actually broke it. Last time I had a serious full map rotation session with friends was around 2018, and my last real binge sessions were in 2015; guesstimate 1k hours (vast majority on PS2)
