I haven't played a Pokemon since X, and from what I've seen of the modern ones I'm in no hurry to change that. I feel like I actually know less about this gen after watching these?
Not convinced by the $60 price, not convinced by the dev team choice, not convinced by the mandate by Sega to trace their underpaid contractors works. But on the other hand, it looks like it plays ok, at the very least. I'm kinda tired of Classic Sonic, but if it turns out to be good then I'll happily applaud it.

I have never consumed a Persona in my life, but when I eventually do I wouldn't mind adding this. Nice artstyle, solid animation and I think Atlus made a couple good TRPGs in their time? Persona 5 might be a bit overdone but I just want good games man
Possible argument for having an artstyle=/good. The whole cartoon look is probably translated to 3D as best as they could, but this really isn't doing it for me. Rolled my eyes a little at the rougelike tag too. There's a demo, so maybe it's better than it looks, I'll check right now actually.

People were advocating for voice acting in Pokémon since Gen 8, so it's nice for Nintendo to make this game to get them to realise what an awful thing that would be
Genuinely interested to see how they justify buying this over the original when this appears to be a carbon copy in every aspect except for graphics.

On the one hand, great to see it freed from 3DS jail - but also makes the choice to remake the original for the 3DS when the Switch was already out seem even more dumb. Hopefully that arrives like, on the heels of 2.
These games are really whatever in a general way, but this is neat for Batman fans considering this is basically all they have to eat. Really interested in their performance, of course.

Some people clocked this at the DQ theme, others clocked it at the Toriyama artstyle. I clocked it upon hearing the opening notes of godawful MIDIshit.
Cool to see this subseries return just slightly after Pokemon fans needed it most, but it looks super whatever from the very little shown off. People seem to really like the other Monsters entries though, so hopefully it lives up to them.

I've never cared about Pikmin, they just never seemed interesting at all to me. The gameplay demo for 4 and the resulting social media hype for the series pretty much just changed my view entirely. I will genuinely do what I can to play every Pikmin now, godammit. They beat me.

Now, I get it, Star Ocean 2 is like, the only good one apparently - but damn, if this ends up being an improvement it'll just widen the gap between 2 and the rest of the series. Wouldn't mind seeing some love go into remaking 3 and tidying that up, but that's probably never happening.

Every joke has been done to death so I'll just say, by removing the NEW from the title they ironically made 2D Mario actually feel new for the first time in decades. Not too different, not too samey, this gonna be a good vidyagame.
