It is truly insane how this game is real and how many lessons it can teach you. This was one of the first few games that I fell in love with and one of the first few that introduced me into story driven JRPGs. While I do pray this'll get a remake it's still as good as it is. 10/10, always.

Impeccable, although I do still like Xenoblade Chronicles 1 a tad bit better

A timeless classic that only gets better and better with every replay, also has one of the most fun gameplay systems I've ever had the pleasure of playing in my life—up there with the likes of DMC3/5. Story and bosses were immaculate too, tugs at your heartstrings easily and reasonably challenging (excluding a devious few) but fun bosses. Easy masterpiece.

Funny how they made Copen a hundred times better in LAiX when he was already an awesome character in Gunvolt 1 and 2. Amazing game

It took me a little longer than I wanted to for this game to be fully complete but it was all worth in the end. Really enjoyed this game a lot more after a replay. The Majima encounters are amazingly funny (although I kinda got my ass kicked the first few times), somehow the story and characters got a million times better, and the gameplay is still pretty solid. Great game all-around!

After replaying this because of the 60fps patch, This game is better than I remember. I still have some dislikes regarding the night stages but man are the day stages a joy.

A magnificent Visual Novel and undeniably the best Type-Moon work in my eyes. The story isn't necessarily complex either, it's simple to understand and it only gets better if you've read previous Type-moon works before it. On top of that it has a phenomenal cast but the ones that stand out the most for me would obviously be the main trio. So many fun dynamics within it's setting with an outstanding presentation that feels downright cinematic at times, and it's incredible to know the second half of the Tsukihime remake will have the same if not better visuals than this

This game is the embodiment of testosterone itself, seriously. The setup for each chapter is unbelievably good, and the soundtrack makes everything all the more spectacular. Literally a perfect game.

Awesome game with an awesome soundtrack, loved it from beginning to end

This is that REAL good stuff

I always end up coming back to this game and wanting to express my thoughts on it more, because it's just too good of a conclusion. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better time to get into this series, it kind of helped offer a distraction for a time that was quite painful for me, thankfully those days are long gone; but I digress.

I have never been so invested in a world like I've been with Trails. Throughout these 10 games I've fallen in love with how this series builds a vastly large cast, while also making sure most of them have something you can always remember them by. You could argue that it could a slow burn during it's arc beginnings but it's oh-so worth it once you finally experience what this series has to offer. And lets not forget how incredible the soundtrack in literally every game is, Azure being my most favorite.

For now, lets move on to the game itself. Hajimari is undeniably the best of the Trails games so far, think of it as CS4 being a celebration to the series but multiply it by a hundred times. Falcom killed it with this game, best storytelling the series has seen and it will only get better from here. So many clues from the previous games tie so incredibly well into this game, It's astonishing. Gameplay itself is too fun, also kind of serves as a culmination of far it has improved it's turn based combat all the way from Sky FC. The episodes were a pretty cool new addition to Hajimari while also putting the emotional finishing touches on an certain character.

How this game handles it's 3 routes is unbelievable, more linear than most games in the series and my god does it nail it's culmination. It provides a well deserved closure to the main protagonists of the game, all 3 of them being phenomenal and 2 of them being as I said prior in previous reviews.

On a personal note, Rean is...definitely the most relatable Trails character for me and one of my favorite video game characters, he's also quite similar to another character I know. In this game he has everything that was already established in the previous CS games about him turned up to 11 and expands even more on his motivations, his struggles, and on his development.

Trails is something I will keep close and dear to my heart, because throughout these games this series manages to achieve only the most wonderful things. My favorite franchise of all time, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Though I know another Trails game is bound to surpass this one I more or less just wanted to fully contextualize on how this series has affected me, since it also marks the end of the first half of the series. Nonetheless, thank you for everything Falcom

What a journey this saga was. The bracers, the SSS, and Class VII. I know there's still Hajimari left but still, this just did everything right. I loved Rean's journey throughout the entire game and his well deserved conclusion making him my favorite Trails character next to Lloyd. Everything about this game managed to surpass the beautiful game that was Cold Steel 3 in a way that doesn't feel dragged on or cut short. This series constantly outdoes itself with every finale being better than the previous, and every soundtrack being more grand than the last. What a truly incredible ending to the Erebonia Arc.

I adore Cold Steel 3 so much. Immediately capitalizes on the events that transpired within Cold Steel 2 (which I can't say for obvious reasons) and because of that it tugs at your heart strings so easily. This felt like a celebration to the previous Cold Steel games, and maybe even Trails as a whole. For the graphics, it's such a major improvement from 2's it left me in awe. The story was phenomenal as usual, and the music just blows you away. What's not to love about this game? I could ramble a lot more about it but I would probably spoil it, so for now just know that this game is phenomenal.

Loved everything about it, easily a contender for GOTY
