Met Hanako at Embers and said “fuck that we’re doing this my way”. Curiosity killed the cat and I did the path of no resistance to see what the ending looked like…and man, that was brutal. The real ending I wanted (and got) was the Sun, which was an insanely fun ending, if a little bittersweet. This game isn’t perfect but the writing is close. Love it to death. Here’s hoping CD Projekt Red doesn’t fuck Orion up lol

Finished Kerry’s questline and assisted Blue Moon with her stalker problem. Now there is truly nothing between me and the end of the game…save for NCPD Scanners. Decided to do all of them. I finished Watson, Westbrook, and Santo Domingo. Just the City Center, Heywood, and the Badlands next. Already did Pacifica. I also got MaxTac called on me after I escalated an accident civilian casualty…and unlike before I actually managed to beat one squad and lose my stars. Took me thirty minutes but still! That was awesome. I reloaded though because there’s no benefit to doing so and it just wasted all my ammo

Completed Mesprit’s trial and made it to Mount Coronet to tell Kamado off. Also evolved my Porygon2 and now it’s a bizarre little fella

Completed both Azelf’s and Uxie’s trials. Also I picked Irida this time because I picked Adaman last time. Personally I think being concerned with time makes more sense than being concerned with space (and Dialga is my favorite over Palkia) but I wanted to see what Irida was about. And I guess I can understand concerns about space more readily now that I’ve started going outdoors more lol. Also nicknamed my Pokemon (finally) as I felt like a Galaxy Team member wouldn’t nickname them until they were very close. Also stuck to Japanese names as I think it would be a cool theme for ancient Hisui. Shinigami the Typhlosion, Tsukuyomi the Ursaring (soon to be Ursaluna), Sakura the Lilligant, Orizuru the Porygon2 (soon to be Porygon-Z…maybe), Taiyaki the Basculegion (female), and Komainu the Arcanine.

Managed to catch a female Basculin (apparently they’re only found in Tranquility Cove? The ones near Firespit are all male) and hiked up Mt. Coronet till the quarry

Completed Blistering Love (I did not get to have sex with Rogue) and Second Conflict. Kerry is a pretty fun guy, excited to continue his feud with Us Cracks

Took some time during my workday during a power outage to look for Growlithe (in vain) in the Cobalt Coastlands as well as knock out some requests. Looks like I’m going to have to get popstar Sneasler on my side in order to catch those lol

The Pale Heart actually looks very good. And the voice acting is noticeably better than in the past. I think Final Shape is looking pretty good so far!

Today I learned that Basculegion can double jump. I thought it could only jump once! Goes to show how my reading comprehension is. Almost died to Arcanine because of that burning fire in the center of the arena blocking me from interrupting his charged attack. Can't believe I'm getting done like this in a kids game lmao

Today I figured out you can jump off of Veilstone Cape with Wyrdeer and actually make it to the island chain to the north (as long as you land in the water). This is truly Basculegion-less behavior. Speaking of which I hope I can find Basculin before the Alabaster Icelands. Currently en route to Iscan

Songbird sent me a souvenir! So glad to see she’s okay. Alex reaching out was a bit surprising, especially since she doesn’t seem to care about killing me all that much. Fair play I guess. Did a few more side jobs in Dogtown, and finally completed Chippin In and got me my game cover art jacket and the 3516. Hell fuckin yea

Calmed Lilligant down and spend the rest of the session just chilling. Was looking for a Petilil as well and I found one so I’m living good lol

Finally managed to find a space-time distortion close enough to me to warrant making a detour to. Caught myself a Porygon and found an Upgrade. You already know the Galaxy Team is like “what in the absolute fuck is this thing”. Love it

Holy shit. I just finished Phantomb Liberty. King of Cups ending. That was fucking mental. I didn’t trust either Songbird or Reed…but I couldn’t put my faith in the NUSA. There’s no way. V and Songbird are going through the same thing, and I wasn’t about to send her back to her cage under Myers. That final sequence in the spaceport was fucking peak fiction. Using the Blackwall was badass as fuck (especially doing it together with Songbird). And despite Songbird revealing she lied to me…I couldn’t just leave her there. Not after she tried so hard to leave. Besides…I was in better shape than she was; I can hold on for a little longer. All I can say about Reed was that I’m glad he went out on his own terms…wasn’t about to let him stop me. Didn’t get a Phantom Liberty full game ending, but I am so glad I got this one. Now I’ve gotta make a choice…Temperance, Star, or Sun (like hell I’m doing Devil). Chippin’ In first though. Save the Dogtown side jobs for after I get an ending

Helped out Calaba in the Solaceon Ruins and secured the assistance of Ursaluna. Imma be honest I don’t remember Arezu lying about Ursaluna’s rampage lol. Smug one there

Infiltrated the Black Sapphire, and surprise surprise Songbird didn’t tell me the whole truth. Guess she’s also dying though…hopefully that neural network has enough juice for the both of us. Did some gigs in the meantime and now I’m on my way to nab that netrunner duo for an in to Hansen’s meeting

Continued Phantom Liberty. Met up with Reed and Alex, figured out where Songbird is, and ready to infiltrate the Black Sapphire. I fully expect someone to betray my ass…just don’t know who. Not feeling too strongly about Songbird. Not that she’s given me a reason to distrust her, but she hasn’t given me a reason to either. Making promises that she can help me without telling me what they are. At the very least maybe rescuing her will give her a chance to explain herself. I’ve got a bit more of a feel for Reed. Don’t trust him fully either, but he doesn’t seem like a bad guy. Just hoping he’s not still fully loyal to Myers

I have rescued great Lord Kleavor from the throes of insanity by throwing balls of food at him…truly a pious act. On a serious note the noble Pokémon fights are fun but are pretty absurd when you think about them lol. Anyway I got to meet Adaman and Irida and I love both of them lol. Just kiss already. It’s cool to see Adaman doubt Irida’s capacity to lead because she hasn’t been doing so for a long time, and to see Irida denounce our usage of Poke Balls as they constrain their occupant’s space. They truly do match their clans’ ideologies

Passed our trial with flying colors, began hunting some new Pokemon, and defeated the alpha Kricketune “interloper” in Deertrack Heights. I actually managed to catch it too! Side note, really like how “almighty Sinnoh’s” nature is disagreed upon between the Diamond and Pearl clans like how different denominations of religions also disagree on core tenets. Very cool storytelling

Started Phantom Liberty today and I must say it is SICK. First mission is very cool, stealthing it is a dope feeling. I don’t completely trust Myers or Songbird but I figure I might as well go with the flow. Dogtown is a sick area, and I’m glad to see Mr. Hands come back to give out gigs. Excited to see how this goes!

Starting a new PLA save and boy am I excited for this one. I love this game to death and can’t wait to review it. I picked Cyndaquil this time (as opposed to Oshawott the first time), though I plan to raise the other starters later in the game because all three are so sick. Currently in the Obsidian Fieldlands working on my Galaxy Team trial
