Not a lot in the way of main story today, but a lot of side story: helped Panam rescue Saul from the Raffen, helped Judy process Evelyn’s suicide, and met River in our investigation into Mayor Rhyne’s death. Side content wise, the usual—cyberpsychos, gigs, scanner hustles, and a few tarot. Also helped out the Buddhist monks that Maelstrom wanted to carve into. My build is also getting better: got a tier 4 Paraline with tier 4 Synapse Burnout, got some shiny new Monowire that recharges RAM on hit, and throwing knives that instantly return on headshot

Did quite a lot of main story today: rescued Evelyn and got her back in Judy’s hands. Also met with Rogue in the Afterlife, and she pointed me in the direction of Panam, and we got Hellman squared away. Side content wise, did a few gigs here and there, neutralized some cyberpsychos (Bloody Ritual was sick), and hit up Claire to begin her questline. Next session I’ll probably hit up Takemura or head to Pacifica to deal with those backstabbing Voodoo Boys

Another heaping helping of stealthy gigs which were pretty fun, as well as some side jobs (Flaming Crotch Man thanks me), and two cyberpsychos that I managed to incapacitate cleanly. Main story wise, I went to Clouds (great dialogue and atmosphere in that scene), beat the shit out of that rat Fingers, and traced Evelyn’s location from a Death Head’ XBD. Sex work in Night City is fucked beyond all measure

Got a random desire to play this, and accidentally played the exact same game as the last time (Culture France on a TSL Huge Europe). Halfway through the Classical Era the game crashed and I lost interest

Got back on Black 2 to see if I could teach my Klutz Lopunny Pom-Pom Switcharoo…needless to say Pokémon Showdown has led me astray as it is only an egg move in normal Pokemon. Oh well, cleared the first area of Black Tower to ensure my session wasn’t for naught. Who was gonna tell me that the trainers in there give EXP? I might actually use it to train my second team above level 50

Did a few gigs, scanners hustles, a side job here and there, collected a few tarot arcana, and met with Takemura and Judy respectively. a lot of little things for a few hours lol

Completed the Konpeki Plaza heist and went through…all that. The first act of this game is fucking KILLER. They match the emotion and tone of the scenes so well. The heist itself is sick and the OST they play as Saburo gets offed perfectly matches the shock of seeing it. Arasaka plaza escape is great and hoooooooly shit do I fucking LOVE the Johnny sequence with The Rebel Path playing in the background as you one shot enemies with the Malorian. And even the discussion with Vik and Misty about your condition is done in a really touching and vulnerable way. Also got to participate in Jackie’s ofrenda…it’s a part of the game I really appreciate. Sure this game is action packed and over the top, but it doesn’t lack emotion and respects its subject matter well. Love it so much

The game is done. What an absolute FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC game. I now have a Persona 3 sized hole in my heart. The ending was legitimately beautiful (surprised it ended so well actually) and the final fights were climactic as hell (save for the fact that I was SUPER overleveled lmao). There’s way too much to say in one note. The ending was virtually perfect. I am so glad I decided to give this game a chance. It comforted me through some stress times in the last few months, and it gave me a lot to think about with regards to friendship and my outlook on life. I also enjoyed the last few part of it with friends watching me, and the conversations I had with them were so good. I’m gonna miss this game for a long time…luckily we’ve got an epilogue coming in September! Shit…I might replay the whole damn game in advance of that!

1/15, evening. I BEAT THE GODDAMN REAPER TODAY!!!! My level fucking SKYROCKETED and so did everyone else on the team. Everyone on that team (Ken, Aigis, and Yukari) plus Fuuka are now sitting in the low nineties. I don’t want to underestimate Nyx…but I think I’m gonna cook her. Here’s hoping I’m right and she doesn’t pull out the Heat Riser Concentrate Marakunda Megidolaon on my ass lol

Secured the Flathead from Maelstrom (siding with Anthony in the process, didn’t actually think that’s how that was gonna go down), spoke to Evelyn about the Relic heist, and took Regina’s gig on Jotaro. That last one took me a while, unfortunately did not do it in complete stealth, but nevertheless did it without a gunfight

Master Warlord’s Ruin eludes us yet again

Been waiting a while to start this one back up again. Bought Phantom Liberty, so I’m doing the main story again. Going to try and get whatever ending comes with PL, so wish me luck I suppose. Finished the Prologue and I’m currently starting The Ripperdoc
