ITS BEEN YEARS but I finally got a physical copy of this game (that cost a lot of money). Already I’m very excited to keep playing, there are a lot of changes that I’m really happy with and it feels so familiar yet so fresh! Just made it past the Aspertia Gym and Floccessy Ranch, and on my way to Virbank!

Did a few attempts at the Battle Resort (and failed) and won my first Cuteness Master Rank contest with Delcatty! I might move on to another Pokemon game now but I’ll probably keep my teams in here until I know for sure I won’t be coming back any time soon

NUMBER 624 WAS THE ONE!!! SHINY RALTS OBTAINED!!!! She's got a perfect HP IV and has Skill Swap, so hey that's pretty good. I think I'm going to save her for an X or Moon playthrough. Haven't settled on a nickname, but I'm leans towards either Persephone (623 dead Ralts to get her lol) or Spearmint (because of the color scheme)

Finally modded Quest 3 and by god it’s a heavenly experience with better resolution, frame rate, and loading times. And I can FINALLY use bettersongsearch and download songs directly in app. This is amazing

541 dead Ralts littering Route 102 and counting

Did a pretty high quota run, but when one of my friends had to go, we decided "fuck it" and blew all our money on a ticket to Titan. Best decision we ever made--not only did we realize Titan isn't that confusing and has a lot of potential for salvage, we saw no less than two weather conditions and five different monsters. 10/10 would throw my life away again

We did a minute amount of Shiny hunting but went out drinking with my friends and passed out before I could continue

Got another Hall of Fame entrance under my belt and began my first shiny hunt for Ralts! This is going to take a while

Got my first team to max Affection and then fell asleep because Christmas was tiring lol

Beat the Elite Four twice today, one with the new team and one with the old

Spent all day grinding out a new team for a third Hall of Fame clear (for the ribbon): Pear the Aggron, Banshee the Mismagius, Yuki the Froslass, Antony the Flygon, Eepy the Cradily, and Swagnet the Magnezone. Also going to be training up Mimi the Delcatty, who I used early in my playthrough but dropped because Skitty and Delcatty have terrible stats. I just think it would be funny to have a Delcatty with so much effort put into it, she deserves it

210/211. Not including Jirachi…that means WE COMPLETE THE HOENN POKÉDEX! Next up is a trip back to the Battle Resort, Ribbons, and a Ralts shunt!

200/211, finally realized we couldn’t trade Groudon and Kyogre over GTS because of their signature moves (that can’t be transferred to XY)

199/211, we’re in the endgame now. Did my trade evos with a friend, though ORAS online didn’t work the way we wanted to so we used the GTS. Still need Kyogre, but other than that we have all of the version exclusives

Played a short session after I got sick of THE FINALS, but I got tired from a lack of sleep and stopped early

193/211, I finally explored the Sea Mauville and unearthed its secrets (and Spiritomb), cleared all of the Trick House rooms, beat the Elite 4 again (which was pointless but a thought I needed to respawn a legendary), and of course added to the Pokédex. Finally trained all of the non-second team level evos, as well as the stone evos save for Vileplume. And we caught Groudon almost a month after accidentally KOing it during the main story lol

I GOT A QUEST 3 AS A GRADUATION GIFT AND BEAT SABER LOOKS AMAZING ON IT! (modless for now though, so I’ll wait to make the transition fully until BMBF releases on it)

175/211, almost done with all level up evolutions. Then we finish the trades, do the stones, breed down, and get the legendaries and we’re done

Another banger day, taught a friend the ropes in a 5 person lobby and also got some experience on Eclipsed moons! Very enjoyable

Holy shit I found a dude and we helped each other with trade evolutions, we’re truly in the endgame now (163/211)

Played with six people using the More Company mod (which increases multiplayer slots), was definitely very fun and we even got to Dine (where 5 of us died to the same landmine), but I definitely prefer 4v players max since its scarier
