It's the playable half (third?) of Fates I guess. Oh wait no haha it is a miserable experience. Seriously this game is torturous at times, you can feel the devs really wanted to give fans a big middle finger with this one.

The changes Gen 4 made are overall good. The Gen 4 engine itself however is atrocious. Diamond and Pearl themselves are not good games and are severely lacking in content and quality.

I wrote this review while I watched a Blissey's HP go down in the Battle Tower.

Gen 2 sucks and this remake suffers a lot because of it. The Gen 4 engine sucks and this game suffers a lot because of it. Other than that, solid as hell, plenty of content, and it looks, sounds and plays beautiful.

Great game but overrated. This saved Sinnoh from the unplayable atrocity that is Diamond and Pearl, but only barely. Has plenty of content and a good post game thankfully.

First half of the best generation of Pokemon. It's missing a couple things that the sequel fixes but the gameplay is perfect.

Absolute masterpiece. Very hard to understand and get into both gameplay and story wise, but once it clicks it is a phenomenal experience.

It's a very cute game. The positives end there.

You already know all the negatives with this game so I won't bother mentioning them. The good bits: It is fun time and easily replayable. Get the DLC though because otherwise it is not worth the price tag.

I like this game, but I wanted to love it. Suffers from severe identity issues and the direction is all over the place. Combat is fantastic, music is great and varied, story is atrocious.

Years after release the more I think of this game my opinion on it kinda gets worse but you know what? It's Mario. I loved it while playing it.

Pokemon finally did something very different with itself. And I loved it. More like this please.

Gorgeous game. Wish more people talked about it. Different and more unique than most FE games but it executes those things well.
