Robots should rhyme more.
Finally got around to checking out the works of Wormwood after years of fondly regarding them from afar. Yeah, they're good.
Primordia in particular has a great cast, locale, and some oblique puzzles I'm particularly fond of. There's even a nifty developer commentary built in to poke through.

Do remember that you can right click on that door.

Step right up! STEP RIGHT UP! Come inside the madman!
Come see the initiatic lore and Norse motif. Dance with Anima, assuage your grief.
Consult the raven's Carnevale. Seek out Mimir and hear your tale.
Come to Strangeland where death is not defeat. If in purple prose you find a red velvet treat
You may deem this a predictable plight, but you'd do well ne'er to forget
Cicadas crawl for 6000 days of darkness for a few weeks of light.

Great visual style; but the limited vertical axis for aiming, along with the SMG being misaligned from the crosshair and some other irksome weapon reloading quirks, provided continuous annoyances throughout my playthrough. Ion Fury is also rather more difficult than many of its peers, at least on Ultra Viscera, to the point where some levels felt like a matter of trial and error with victory only possible by learning where enemies would be through failure. Death comes quick, and ambushes are a constant factor to the campaign. Overall though it is a super solid outing. Heskell's House of Horrors being an especially great level.
