Kinda charming sometimes, but rouge-likes really aren’t my thing

Niko is one of the best characters ever written.

This game is so stupidly goofy that it loops around to being unironically brilliant.

This game is a masterpiece if you skip Turnabout Big Top

Seeing actual blood in a mascot horror game was strangely cathartic,

Anyways, pretty alright demo, I LOVE the setting, I’ve always felt like amusement parks have a lot of potential for horror games and I’m glad this game is utilizing it, can’t wait to see what comes next

After reflecting on my thoughts on these 6 games, here is my full tier list of all of the main cases.

I’d eat Mark’s meat, NGL

Hot take: This game has the best soundtrack in the series, and they wasted it on one of the most mid games I’ve played

It’s a mesh of some genuinely cool ideas and some bad ideas and builds into a game that I just kind of think is ok.

(Also don’t play this game on switch, Chapter 6’s class trial turned my switch into an air conditioner)

Strange how there’s no AA4 and it just skips straight to Dual Destines. I mean, DD randomly introduces this Apollo guy out of nowhere. I wish this trilogy gave us a game where we could play as him and establish him as a character.

Anyways
AJ:AA - 2/10
DD - 9/10
SOJ - 10/10

Case ranking coming soon

“Oh no, guys. Do I side with the man I met a few hours ago who’s holding my nephew at gunpoint? Or do I side with the main protagonist of the last game?”
