After a long break from the series since binding blade being extremely difficult for me, blazing blade was a much better introduction to the series as it teaches you the various mechanics well through "Lyn mode" where you start off the story with one of the main lords of the series. The levels in this game are more fun to go through as they are less brutal than the ones in binding blade. It was introduced in binding blade, but I really did supports starting off with this game and it really gives more depth to the 3 lords and characters with the only downside being that a character can only A rank with one character so you will end up not seeing most of the supports. I thought the story is great and especially if you completed a certain support it would blend in well with the storyline.

This was my introduction to the series by accident due to me mixing up binding blade and blazing blade up and ended up playing one of the hardest fire emblem games in the series it doesn't help that the tutorial for this game is hidden in extras which would have been useful to know beforehand. Accuracy is fucked in this game as archers and fighters will practically not hit anything 90% of the time. The maps can be tough especially mid game and the game will punish you if you misplace a unit that's low health. Despite it all this being the introduction of the series for me I understood the appeal of the series and strategy RPGs in general because of this game. (Still fuck ch21 I still have PTSD of that chapter to this day). The story for the game is alright but probably has the hardest requirement to get the good true ending of the game as it requires you to beat all the gaiden levels. The game was overall fun to play through but was difficult as a beginner to the series

The first game i was left feeling extremely weird about because of how absolutely insane and absurd that ending was. I had left this game on the backlog for years due to knowing one of the biggest spoilers of the game. The executions are probably the most brutal of the series and leave you incredibly empty inside in classic Danganronpa fashion. My rating is mostly hurt by the ending leaving me an extremely sour taste of the series as a whole although i understand what was the message behind the ending. The actual cases and investigations were great and the new debate scrum was probably the best addition to the trials. Truly the game of all time

This game is basically persona 4.5 as it would be used later on as the graphics for the more popular game Persona 5. The story is ridiculous as we go in the pov of vincent as hes going through a crisis of a decision that might change his life forever the various routes are interesting including the new route (Rin) which was extremely odd but good which was added to full body. I ended up doing two routes which was Katherine and Rin i would have done the last girl but I did not want to play through the game again since it can get repetitive i might play through again to see the final route. The voice acting is in classic Atlus fashion of being great and humorous.

I LOVE DEEMCEE TWO DONTE IS THE BEAST HE SHOOT THE GUN AND HE WIN

This was probably my most wanted game for me to play for the past half-decade and it did not disappoint. Despite Remake only covering about a few hours into the original Final Fantasy VII, it expands on Midgar a whole lot and the major events of the game hit much harder in ways it would have not happened in the original game. The graphics are absolutely stunning and continue to amaze me of how it flows with gameplay. The combat system is great and feels like a direct upgrade from XIIIs and XVs combat systems and makes it even more engaging. The voice acting gives so much personality to the already great memorable characters and made them even more fan favorites than they already are. One thing i did not expect to happen is for me to do every side quest and minigame that was in the game and it was really fun to do each one. The biggest shocker for me with this game is that the big changes made to the game make it even more exciting to wait and play the next part of the retelling of FFVII

EXTRATERRITORIAL RIGHTS!!!! 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

an improvement on the already great combat of spiderman 1 as the new venom power being replaced by the finisher being used with combos made it a more satisfying gameplay loop and was able to make it feel like something new instead of it being a copy of the first game. presentation of the game with the soundtrack made it feel better than spiderman in some aspects. as for the story itself, i think it was weaker than the first game as it could be because the game was much shorter than the first game. Still had a great time with the game

Considered one of the hardest games in the series its easy to figure out why thats the case as theres various mechanics that will either screw you up or benefit from (so can your enemies) from heal miss to infinite status effects and range to no true 100% hits this game can be frustrating if you dont know what you are doing. This game felt designed in a way you had to have a manual or guide to go with it. Despite it all, if you plan ahead and know somewhat what you are doing it can be (mostly) fun to play through. As for the story, we get to see the POV of Leif as he takes back thracia and its gives a better perspective of how he feels and what he goes through during the events of ch 6-8 of Geneology before and after he meets seliph. although supports werent created at this time, the character conversations throughout the game are great and give more personality to the characters. i think overall it was a decent game to the series

I took a break from Yakuza when i finished Kiwami 2 because i knew it would be an instant downgrade in graphics and it showed when i played it. The Graphics were not bad at all but the change was definitely noticeable. Every fight will be a blockfest but i felt it was a fine gameplay wise but compared to if you already played zero and kiwami, its the worse by default being the oldest engine. Story wise i think my favorite part of the game was seeing Kiryu being a father and also Rikiya as he was a great main supporting character to the game. i definitely think this game would benefit from a kiwami entry since i think the story is decent but suffers from being the oldest game in list of games if you are playing in order.
