My PC took a shit today so no more for me for the time being. Good game tho

I appreciate this game a lot more after a replay. The "horror" aspect of the Arkham games peaks in this game. Predator sections are pretty repetitive but that is remedied later in the series. Still my least favorite out of the main trilogy, but still really good.

I’ve tried to play this game like 4 times, but I could never get into it. It always just started too slow for me and I despised the tears of light stages. Once I got past the early game, it is evident that this game perfects the Zelda formula in almost every way. The only “Zelda” aspect this game is kind of lacking in is the side quests. There is like 4 total and 2 are poes and bugs.

Dungeon design is peak. Most of the dungeon themes are things that have been done before, but they are still unique and stand out. Personally, I felt challenged by the puzzles, but never got stuck anywhere for more than 10 minutes. One thing that I wish was more challenging though is the combat. Although if it was, it would kind of be annoying to do with the wiimote.

This game is just token Zelda, but that’s not a bad thing at all. It’s honestly very refreshing coming off of playing a ton of Botw and Totk. Top 4 Zelda

Combines all the greatest aspects of the previous games and is definitely the best Animal Crossing IMO. Wish this was on the switch because whenever I play New Horizons, I just wish I was playing this one.

Say what you want about Minecraft, but the fact that has been ported to every console under the sun and becomes one of the better selling games on that system says a lot considering the game is over a decade old. Greatest game of all time 🐐

If there's one thing Nintendo was tremendous at in the 5th and 6th generation, it was turning their 2D series into 3D games. This is no exception as it is basically Super Metroid in 3D. Only thing that is marginally different is the movement options, but I have a feeling they wouldn't work well in a 3D game like this anyways. Combat wasn't my favorite, and in some areas, you just fight the same enemies over and over, and they respawn after about two or three rooms so it makes you not want to backtrack (which is not something you want to discourage the player from doing in a Metroid game.) This isn't a huge problem though as when you start to unlock stronger weapons, most enemies can be taken out in one or two hits. Other than that I had absolutely no problems retreading through old areas, as you always find new stuff to do and sometimes even get distracted from your main objective. I had never played the original, but by looking at the footage they did a great job of revamping the graphics and it became more stylized in the process. Makes me wish they had just remastered the trilogy, even if they made you pay $40 per game.

I know this is the cliche thing that everyone says about this game, but without a map, you will be absolutely lost. There are minimal hints, that are really hard to find, and I can't imagine playing this when it is released. Using a map doesn't take any of the value away in my opinion, as most of the fun of it comes from the challenge. It almost feels like a bullet hell, as the enemies move quickly, and hit hard. And once you have played through it once or twice, you don't have to rely on a map or a walkthrough whatsoever. Not much puzzle-solving here, and what is present is very cryptic and hard to solve. At the end of the day, while this game may seem like it hasn't aged well, there is still plenty to enjoy here that makes this worth playing, especially if you are a fan of the series.

This game takes inspiration from games like Dark Souls and Zelda but makes it its own. The combat is always fun, but even the slower pace of solving puzzles was nice after taking down a wave of enemies. Some of the boss fights can feel similar, but they were still fun to master before finally beating them. The story starts off slow in my opinion, but towards the halfway point it really starts going and became one of the main driving forces for me to continue the game, rather than just the fun combat. And the ending definitely made me excited to play Survivor in the future.
