Tails of Iron has a wonderful art style and clean mechanics, but the pacing suffers from multiple quests that have you going back and forth between areas. There is no way to, for instance, activate multiple side quests in an area so you can go do them all at once. You have to complete one, go back to the quest board and select another, then go do that one, then repeat. Still giving this 3.5 rather than 3 because I enjoyed it thoroughly (even with some frustration at the back and forth) and plan on playing it through again on the Hard Mode. If you see the "difficult game" tag or something like it, yes this has souls-like mechanics to it, but the normal mode is actually very forgiving (and there is an easier story mode if you want to play just for that). I am very new to souls likes, and most bosses did not cause me too much difficulty. You become more powerful very quickly, and the enemies' moves are pretty well-telegraphed, and there are color queues for when to dodge or parry (which has the most generous window I've ever played with). If you want to play for the lovely art, music, and more, don't be intimidated by the standard normal mode difficulty. Powered through this game in about 10 hours (all achievements except the one you need to do in Bloody Whiskers - hard - mode).

Played this game on my grandmother's laptop when I was a young kid. It's not a very complicated or difficult game (completed as a child), but the nostalgia is there for me. Basically a match tile style game with some added elements.

A broken, janky game that holds a special place in my heart forever.

I beat the game (not the secret ending) because I figured I should give it a try because of all the praise and recommendations. I don't think Metroidvania games are for me, but the art, music, and soundscapes in this game are amazing and certainly worth the pain I suffered endlessly at my inability to pogo jump.

Immensely disappointing. I bought the game because of the promised PvE.

The toxicity in the game made me disable chat completely. I actually like the game from a pure gameplay perspective, but I don't really think its worth the grind.

Probably would be more fun with people to play with, but my friends weren't really interested. I had fun for a few hours but I don't know if I will come back to finish because the experience feels pretty empty by yourself.

I went into this game completely blind because I picked it up on sale randomly. I didn't have any expectations, and I was blown away by the auditory mystery. It is a very short game, which is sad, but I had a great experience. Was just the kind of thing I was looking for in a mystery game. (Not terribly difficult, but fun regardless.)

Completed the campaign and have played MANY hours of the survival mode. Addicting RTS gameplay that keeps me coming back from time to time.

Amazing music and a good story. Make sure to go in expecting more of a visual novel style experience.

I loved this turn based strategy experience as well as the exploration of Runeterra lore. Played it through twice in a row with the second time at a higher difficulty. Great through and through.

A wonderful mystery game. I wish there was a better way to keep notes in game, but overall a great experience. Completed in about 7 hours.

A cute game with a wonderful art style. I would set my 2 year old nephew on my lap and let him name the different dinosaurs and he liked to just watch them play in the habitats.

Decent multiplayer experience. Had fun playing it with my brother, but it didn't really keep us coming back.

I love the art style, and the updates keep me coming back. Good game when you want to live it up in a colony sim.
