What's even worse is that the trainer rematches (one of the best features for making leveling up less tedious) is locked behind Norman, and even then, it's fucking random whether you get a rematch or not

Don't get me wrong, I love Pokemon Emerald, but just the sheer amount of unnecessary grinding needed in this game is why I prefer ORAS any day of the week
