I would’ve given the game a higher rating.
- There were a few things added that made the game feel better like being able to fast forward to any hour as opposed to the N64 version where you can only go between dawn and evening. It made doing certain quest much easier as you can just jump to an hour before whatever quest.
- Just like OoT 3D, being able to use the ocarina while looking at the song notes was a nice touch.
- Able to access Owl statues early unlike N64 where you were required to smack the statue with a sword to access.
- I’m mixed up a bit on learning song of soaring in a different spot compared to N64. This is just me being picky about it some might find it much better to access earlier than after visiting Deku Palace.
- Gyro on the 3DS made aiming much more smoother 🙏
My main annoyance was the changes to the boss fights.
- All bosses have some dusty giant eyeball that you have to smack around like a punching bag.
- Stone Tower Boss was the biggest POS I ever had to fight against 🙂↕️ while I did enjoy watching Link flex after beating up the worms it felt like a damn chore. I didn’t get all the fairies in the temple due to running out of time in the temple so I was able to teleport into the boss room since I had unlocked it before rewinding time. So I’m not sure if I could use the fairy sword as a giant? I’m used to N64 and being able to use the sword already as a giant. OH YEAH AND HAVING YO DEFEAT ONE WORM TO UNLOCK THE GIANT MASK WAS ANNOYING lmao.
Still a pleasant experience and I’m glad to have finally completed the base story on 3DS. I just won’t give it another go until another few months.

It’s a real fun time and having the twitch integration makes it much more better.
I beat the main story quest but I haven’t done the DLC portion of it yet as I’ll return to another time to finish that.
Medium difficulty had enough to make me struggle at later points in the game which honestly wasn’t too bad.

They say blondes have more fun which I’m told is true.
I’ve played both the PS2 and HDC version.
PS2 is obviously the superior version to play on but I won’t stop anyone from trying HDC since it can be obtained on the Xbox store through Backwards compatibility.
If you do end up playing the HDC version let me warn you that the game will tend to crash in sections after the hospital - the end game It’s not too common tho. This is only on the Xbox version as I haven’t played the PS3 version as much.

I wasn’t a big fan of the final boss section due to how annoying it is to hold the control stick for so long that your finger starts to slip off.
It doesn’t really make it big deal that it would hurt my overall score other than that it was a neat little story. Very lengthy as well!
Now for me to try this on the switch when it gets released to see what improvements they made to the gameplay mechanics.

WHEN YOU GET THAT FEELING YOU GOTTA SING! When you get that feeling… when you get that feeling I GOTTA SING!
The controls are so garbage.
The story of the game is basically the first season of South Park ( or the first few episodes ).
It has a multiplayer ffa mode that is fun for a few matches but gets very repetitive. The alien gun is OP combined with the cow launcher.

It was my first Elder Scrolls game and most certainly not my last.
I was instantly hooked and played for hours everyday. I still find myself coming back and playing fresh new files so often that I lost track of how much actual time I’ve spent on this game alone.
I have yet to purchase this game on VR as I feel I’ll get sucked back in lol.
