They say blondes have more fun which I’m told is true.

I’ve played both the PS2 and HDC version.

PS2 is obviously the superior version to play on but I won’t stop anyone from trying HDC since it can be obtained on the Xbox store through Backwards compatibility.

If you do end up playing the HDC version let me warn you that the game will tend to crash in sections after the hospital - the end game It’s not too common tho. This is only on the Xbox version as I haven’t played the PS3 version as much.

Holds up really well on the 3DS compared to other remake titles.

it’s been quite some time since I played OoT and I don’t remember the game being a bit on the short side. It’s not a bad thing! I just found myself thinking certain sections were gonna take me a bit longer to get through.

Not much changes in mechanics from the first game. You’re introduced to Dixie Kong which I find to be the best Kong in the series.

Phenomenal soundtrack, new and improved animal buddies, and an additional secret world that you can unlock by collecting certain tokens.

Comparing this one to its original version, I prefer the GameCube. Essentially it plays the same just a bit more janky… Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon had better controls over this one tbh.

I do like the addition of Gooigi into the game even if I didn’t use the feature but I’m sure others would love it.

It’s a neat idea.

As a person that doesn’t really play these “phasmo “ type of games, this one actually made things fun with its different monsters located in the old world.

It does need a few improvements.

Ape strong together.
Memes aside this was one of my first ever games I played as a child. Soundtrack is fantastic, levels are challenging. you progress towards your goal of finding the banana hoard. It also features King K Fool. Yes you read that right :)

This game makes me so mad….for a good reason lol

Graphics are pretty good for a OG Xbox title. A lot of the charm was lost on this remake and adding unnecessary enemies to different areas that weren’t present in the original make it a pretty hard experience.

I prefer this over OoT tbh ong fr fr.

The time system is something that I actually love about this game. The uneasy feeling of meeting the Happy Mask Salesman has stayed with me for quite a long time.

I thought the Cherry Blossom monster was neat. I loved the SH4 Easter Egg around the end of the game.

There were some big issues with the game. Story wise and gameplay wise.

Green Mario returns in…. Luigi’s Ho…. Mansion?! Not 1, not 2, but 3 mansions… man Luigi save some for the rest of us.

In space no one can hear you scream twice

It’s a fantastic follow up to the first game. Not much changes in terms of combat mechanics but it feels much more balanced than the first.

The gameplay is butt.

Rebecca carries this game tbh fr fr ong

If you can get past the bumbling gameplay mechanics, you’ll learn to love the fantastic story. The jump from being able to play with tank controls has gone out the window with this game but honestly it still plays pretty well with 2D.

This is the last game Team Silent worked on before disbanding.

Buggy mess with frames dropping half the time. Didn’t matter if you were on handheld mode or docked.
