A game I enjoyed at the time that has had no lasting impact on me at all. I see people occasionally saying this game changed their lives or whatever but I only really experienced it as a game with a cool mystery I played once and never thought about again.

I know from a Game Design standpoint this one has a LOT of glaringly obvious problems but theres just nothin like this one

genuinely the most mid game i've ever played and i mean that so much. The overhyping I saw for this made me feel like I was crazy. Objectively bad and corny story, open hollow feeling environments, widely forgettable music and the new character, sage, feels like shes in the wrong franchise. I don't want to listen to sonic characters have personal issues and drama, I legit burst out laughing when I heard tails say the line "Sonic, am I a burden?" like what the fuck is that. Sonic the hedgehog saves defenseless woodland creatures from being turned into robots and eats chili dogs, he doesn't have depression and uncover the Secret of the Emeralds. Part of Shadow's charm as a character is his overly edgy and complicated story in contrast to how happy go lucky everyone is, thats why he still works. Why did they make everyone else shadow, its ridiculous. Silver fails as a character because he also has an overly edgy backstory but he doesn't have the swagger shadow has, making him ultimately unmemorable. Thinking about this game makes me mad and playing it makes me bored. I had this clocked at 2 1/2 before writing it and remembering how stupid the story is made me drop a star.

:D this game actually carried lockdown for me

being spider-man is awesome!

pretty fun game I sunk a lot of time into as a kid but as an adult it's kinda boring playing without a nunchuck. Endlessly waggling the remote to do every task isn't very fun gameplay, thats alleviated somewhat in a group setting but its still not something I enjoy as much as I did at 8 years old

an aesthetically and sonically brilliant game with gameplay thats occasionally rough around the edges that has fortunately inspired a lot of really good art. Forever one of my favorites to listen to or look at, not so much to play

they got rid of the Smash Run mode and some of the best stages in the WII U version and that blows cos they were awesome

I like the DS version a lot more than the wii one

half of this game is really fun and the other half is the werehog levels
