Its surreal how good this game is.

Psychonauts, like many other video games, is a video game but not just any video game, one of the most creative video games I've ever played.

You're this fucking child going into mentally insane people's minds and fixing their issues while trying to save the world from a crazed psychonaut military "war veteran" who all he cares about is a RABBIT. This game is pure genius and creative throughout and it quickly became one of my favorites, all the characters and settings are all memorable in their own way (FUCKING MILKMAAAAAAAN!!!!!) and as you progress throughout the game with more powers you start learning unique ways to beat an enemy or traverse the minds of these characters.

I've never been more disappointed with a game.

I'll start this off by saying at least they made this game look like current spongebob and I think the game looks pretty good and the stero music is top notch stuff honestly. But that's about it. Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated made more awful changes to the gameplay than good, at first I was impressed with how the gameplay felt because the videos we were shown werent that great but as soon as I got to play at Patrick it started to dwindle. Patrick for starters, for some reason you cant throw the watermelon wherever you want anymore and the game gives u restrictions on where to throw them and from here on out I realized the game restricted your moveset greatly than the original. Spongebobs bubble bowl only follows wherever the camera is now which can mess you up of you played the original, which most people have, spongebobs cruise bubble and camera settings are the same setting for some reason and because of that, i had to constantly switch the camera settings so i can have an enjoyable camera and an enjoyable cruise bubble AND speaking of the menu settings, for some reason the settings reset everytime you change a character which annoyed me to no end. This stuff can easily be fixed and I hope they do! I have a lot more issues with the game like mr krabs shiny object requirements went from +1500 each spatula to a whopping +3000 each spatula or the awful sound design or even Patrick's new ground pound, but we'd be here all day.

I'll say some good things about the gameplay however, despite making spongebob and Patrick more restrictive they made sandy more free gameplay wise and shes even more fun to play than in the original with her able to lasso midair AND in the original when you became a spongeball it was a horrid to control but not only the spongeball is so much better to control but you can JUMP with it now. It's fantastic to play as now and good gameplay changes like these make the bad gameplay changes more bizarre and make me question why they were added.

Visually the game is nice but the gameplay and sound design for the most part is horrid compared to the original and they shouldve waited at least 2 more months to fix these issues but hopefully with enough patch notes the game can be better. I wanted to like this game a lot but it gave me more headaches than anything

This game is not a game, it's an experience. Outer wilds is nothing at the start but at its end, it becomes a humongous world. Everything is connected and has meaning to what is happening/what happened TO everything. This expirence makes you think not on just puzzle solving but literally on life itself, it makes you think hard and it rewards you with secrets, amazing characters, beautiful settings, all this good hiding underneath the truth that everything will just erase in the end. It's a beautiful experience that made me cry at its end and it's safe to say that this is up there as one of the more perfect things you can purchase.
