Hunter X Hunter
HxH has the best power system I've seen, and its extremely apparent Togashi is passionate about this world he made. From fun tournament beginnings, to a revenge fueld crime thriller, to the relaxed video game world, culminating in one of best arcs ever put to the screen and the excellent chairman election ending. The building a friendship between two boys with the heart breaking shake-up in Chimeria Ant, nothing leaves me destroyed like that.

The Golden Age arc of Berserk is a perfect story. The build up of strong badass Guts and his friendship with Griffith. The rise and fall of the Band of the Hawk will stay with me forever.

Oooo boy Mamoru Hosoda sure fucking rules. I love his art style and the digital world of OZ. King Kazma is fucking cool, and Love Machine is fucking scary. The Koi Koi scene is amazing.

One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island
Mamoru Hosoda back again with another perfect movie, and making one for my favourite manga? oh fuck yes sir! It is hands down the best One Piece movie that is both in tune with the source, and uses it to explore shit yet unscene. It is by far the most psychologically dark One Piece has ever been (I think) and I think it works well with Luffy. Again, Hosoda's art style is so so good here.

Fooly Cooly
I used to watch this a lot on Adult Swim as a child, so its got that perfect nostalgia for me. The wonderful soundtrack forever stuck in my brain. It didn't take until my most recent rewatch to fully take it all in. Subtext and themes usually fly over me, but I think I got at least some of it here and fuuu 👍

Pure braindead fun. Batman and friends and enemies getting time traveled back to fuedal Japan with each villain controlling a district. The CG looks really good, and it has my favourite Joker design ever. Just insane shit dropping action that makes you go "HOLY SHIT"

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
Classic Jojo's good feelings. Fun fights, insane fucking stands. The maximum security fights is a great sequence. The ending is a perfect send off, and its really fucking cool how they did it in the anime.

Dragon Ball GT
This is pretty much the first Dragon Ball thing I actually completed besides Ultimate Tenkaichi. It put the love of the series into me. Super Saiyan 4 is so fucking cool. Even without the previous knowledge of Dragon Ball, the ending still hit me hard; and now that I have actually read it, the ending seems even more perfect.
