You can never go wrong with Minecraft

Sengoku Basara 3 is a great musou game. The characters are unique, charismatic and cool. EN voice acting is great but the JPN really does stand out.
Stages in general are great, some are a pain to replay but can be avoided.

This game is almost perfect but i have a small grip with it.
Disclaimer* I don't read japanese, so i don't have an opinion on the story.

Sengoku Basara takes the Sengoku Jidai and makes it more of a parody than a retell. This series takes the feudal lords from the time and makes them wilder and romanticized in contrast with other game series from the same period.

-Game Modes
You have Sengoku Creation and Free Battle. In Sengoku Creation you can select atleast 2 diff routes per characters (some characters have 3).
This Sengoku Creation is a step down from the last game. In the last game you really felt like you here conquering and unifying japan but in this game it just looks like they throw up to you random stages to choose from until you get to the last one. It isn't as fun as Basara 3 Utage conquest but still does the job very well.

-Characters
There are 40 characters on total and they are all unique from one another. Every character has his own gimmick and gameplay style, even thought thats amazing it may be have a small pitfall. Since every character is unique its possible you get used to a type, after that you may not be able to pick certain characters cause they will feel slow and clunky. Honestly this doesn't affect the game at all. Its completely fine to dislike to play certain characters and someday if you ever get the time to try and learn them, i guarantee you will have a blast and play the game in a new diff fun way. This all add's up to the diversity and play time.

-Weapon System
Every character has atleast 2 costumes and 7 diff weapons.
This entry completely evolves the weapon system from last games. In the last games the weapons were somewhat fixed but in this game you can customize the weapons whoever you want, there is alot of options and diff skills. I will not go in depth but now you can make the weapon you think looks the coolest the strongest one .

-Gameplay
This game is one of, if not the best, gameplay experience in musou games. You don't feel held back in any shape or form while playing. Every character besides the normals have 6 distinct moves plus 3 special movies that can be swapped between them in the middle of the fight. You can connect your whole movelist with every move, its limitless chances of creating combos. This game just feels right and you can go wild & create the craziest combos.

-Stages/Level Design
There are alot of stages to play and every stage has 2 secret factors. Thoose secret factors can sometimes be level changing and unlock new paths within the stage or can be just small challenges. It adds fantastically to the gameplay loop and helps with the monotony.
But there is somethings i don't like in this game stages:
- A small number of stages are basically the same, it changes the boss, narrative and sometimes the gimmick, it sounds ok at first but since musou games are repetitive in nature this doesn't help. I feel like in the prior game it wasnt so bad.
- This may be personal but some stages are annoying to replay and arent as fun as they were in Basara 3 Utage. I cant really get around on what it is but yeah.

-Roulette
This game has a feature called Roulette. This is the worst part of the game. This feature now is optional but its the only way to get Tenka Medals, a currency you need to unlock extra outfits, unique character weapons augmentation and a new skill. Its not hard to get coins but its annoying since its RNG based.
When you defeat a camp or specific small enemies the roulette will spin and when it stops it will reward you or punish you.
A few of the rewards are transformations, where you can transform and play for a small time 3 diff npc characters. This sounds cool at first but it isn't cause this transformations start to get annoying and interrupt the flow of battle. Yea you can quit the transformation whoever you want but it goes through a long animation before you can continue playing.
I always keep the Roulette off and only activate it when i really need Tenka Medals.

-Extras
There is a cool feature where you can equip Play Books. Thoose Play Books can buff enemies, allys and much other things. Its a good feature to add more variety to the stages.

-Main Theme
Be prepared to hate the main Theme . They tried to milk the song so bad that you can't deactivate it without turning off the rest of the game music. They'll shove that song down your throat until you can't take it anymore. Seriously, its annoying how much you hear this song, you start the game and its the first thing you hear and will follow you until you select a character. You enter the last stage of Sengoku Creation and there is the song again, you can't escape from it.

-CONCLUSION
This is a must play musou game. You will never go wrong with this game. With the 40 unique characters and weapon system you will have thousand of hours of fun.
Even thought the stages and Conquest mode feels a bit weak comparing with the antecessor, it evolves the rest in superior way. This is truly a great sequel and probably the best game of the franchise.
Just be ready to hate the not so good main theme and have your small share of roulette.

Big enough roster and a good selection of customizable items. There is also good stage diversity with diff environment hazards. Honestly a fine game with good side content, combat its clunky but you can get used to it.

In conclusion, its a fine game for Bleach fans.

The game doesnt look bad but that's only it. It was boring, the same thing over and over again with a few bosses in the middle. The open world is boring and just empty space.

I remember that as a kid i just got bored from it. Fight's are clunky and since i don't read japanese i couldn't really understand the skills

Combat system was so boring, all it take was to swing the remote. It just didn't felt right to me. The roster was good but that's it, the combat was so boring

I know i finish this game but i don't actually remember if i ended up enjoying alot. The nice thing was the roster since it added more espadas and even a filler character. I have a small sensation that the gameplay was a bit over the place but i cant remember.

The only good thing is the roster.
Gameplay so over the place, didn't feel good at all and also the story content was just bad.

For me, best bleach game. Carnival 2 is such a good game, it would be more fun if was in english but the amount of hours that game has to fully 100% is alot. You have lvl system and great character roster. I just love the design and the gameplay.

This game graphics aged like fine wine. Its a okay musou game with a decent roster but fails miserable in the content and a bit in the gameplay.
Every character kinda plays differently but they all have such a small moveset. The upgrade systems is a nice touch but its only stats upgrade. There is a small roster of stages and the majority of the stages are just a big wide empty space.

This game could have been much better if:
-The character tree also expanded the moveset and made it way bigger and diff from one another
-More stage variety and more work put to them so they don't feel empty
-More side content and expanded story mode
-Better combat system to allow more variety of combos

This is how a musou game must be, completely full of content. This game side content (Dream Log) is one the best after story content i've seen for a musou game. ´

The replayability is insane, the roster is big and the gameplay is fun. Every character has his own upgrade tree so you will have alot of things to do and farm, you really feel like ur time is rewarded.

Some people may have a grip with gameplay cause every character follows the same buttons but the true is, every character still feels different. Some character have their own gimmicks and the attacks are all so different between them.

In conclusion, its one of the best musou games and a perfect One Piece game for fans.

This sequel elevates everything from the past game, except content.
The gameplay is completely refined, one of the best combat systems in a musou game. You can connect every single move, it is so smooth and satisfying comboing in many diff ways.
Graphics are great, this games looks amazing and completely honors the original material.

But this game has a big flaw : Content.
Replayability is pretty low, the side content is poor compared to the prequel and they left out half of the story and characters out.
This game dream log is now named Treasure log and instead of a map you have a menu. So far it isn't that bad but then you realize the stages are just kinda repeting themselfs and foward the levels you get stuck to the same characters cause the rest its just too weak to complete. You also get to a point were the bosses are just sponges and you can waste alot of time on them.

I love character trees in a musou game, but in this game its kinda of a pain; Its expensive and you get to a point were you cant upgrade new characters and try them in the harder stages. All you can do is play the already powered characters to try new content. And since this treasure log is boring you really don't have any reason to play the easiest stages and try new characters.

Another grip i have is the characters uniqueness. All characters are unique and thats all we could ask but there is a obvious unbalance between them. Some character feel complete and great to use, others feel cluncky and have less moveset. Its weird how you can see 2 diff characters of the same type but one of them has way less button moveset, it doesnt make sense and just feel lazy.

In conclusion, it is still a great game. The bosses mechanics are a nice addition even thought they transform into sponges. Combat system is one of the greatest. Roster is still great plus dlc. The story still had nice moments. But this game fails on the content.

Probably my favorite Sengoku Basara game. I love this game.
The roster is the best of the series. Every character has 3diff outfits, 8diff weapons and 3 diff acessories to equip.

Playing this game after the newer ones sure feels outdated but its the purest form of Sengoku Basara. Having only 2 skills to choose from is an example of it. Playing this after the sequels feels refreshing, you really take full advantage of the square attack and that's something you really dont do on the sequels.

You have alot of content to experience, alot of nice designed stages, game modes and a tournament mode to really challenge urself and get the best weapons for you fav character.

After all of this, this game has a flaw. Conquest mode is poorly done. With so many stage diversity the conquest mode is always recycling the same stages, so if you want to conquest be ready to play the same stages over again.

P.s: Character illustrations are wonderful and unique

Huge step up. This expansion is excellent and should be a top pick. This is probably the game in the franchise with the most content diversity, you have Story, Conquest, Free Battle, Missions, 1on1 battles, alot of allies to choose from.

This game has the best replayability of the franchise, this game conquest mode is the BEST. Aside from normal conquest we have Dream chance conquest which allows us to bet on which faction will win, so we gotta start defeating enemies so that our bet can survive the longest.
But isn't the dream chance alone that makes this the best conquest, its the stage diversity. This game conquest is always giving you diff options instead of recycling the same stages over and over again.
Basara2 conquest has no stage diversity, Basara4 conquest isn't really a conquest it just throws up random stages. Basara3 has the Basara2 conquest with the randomness of Basara4.

This game could be perfect if not for some characters in the roster. 6 of the characters added in this expansion, in comparison with the rest of the roster who have 7 diff designed weapons, 2 oufits and 3 special moves, doesn't have outfit nor weapon design diff and only 1 special move.
This is something i never got past of but since they atleast are playable i cant complain.
